Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am well aware of the FAG guidelines. I take pictures of every stone in the cemetery. Therefore I have no way of knowing if the person is still living. I mean no disrespect by adding them.

Everyone deserves to be recognized with a memorial. Please keep in mind that deaths are public record. Cemeteries are also public.
I will be more than happy to add family links. Please just send request through the edit on each memorial, instead of asking for transfers.

Findagrave is doing a great service for us and I appreciate it. So please, remember that we are all in this for the same reason. To help others and pay tribute to all those who have gone on before us.

Please do not ask for transfers if you are researching family surnames. That isnt fair to the actual descendants.
Please send a message through the edit, on each memorial. That way I can find the memorials quickly. If they are in my family tree at all, I may choose not to transfer them.

Kathy: Thank you for getting back to me. I was hoping you would say you took the picture. Now I need to convince the person who created the memorial on New Sandhill to delete the duplicate memorial. I'm updating the burial listing for both cemeteries - New Sandhill and Old Sandhill - and wanted to be accurate with my information.
Thanks, Shirley :)
P.S. Thank you for adding the information I've sent you for other memorials in Old Sandhill.

Memorial 35877753 Myrtie Thompson
This memorial for Myrtie Thompson is a duplicate for Memorial 166301053 Sarah Myrtie (Ray) Thompson Bell. These individuals are the same person.

Myrtie's husband Mart Thompson's death record is attached to Memorial 35877753 which someone put his wife's name on HIS death record instead of his name. Check out the b.&d.dates on this document. They are the same for Mart Thompson. Also, his parents are listed. This document should be removed from Memorial 35877753 and posted for Memorial 36003409 Mart Thompson. But please make a note that this death record is in fact his death record even though his wife's name is on it.

Tricia has contacted me and I'm hoping she will rewrite the bio for Memorial 166301053 for Sarah Myrtie (Ray) Bell. This person's death record shows she married for the 2nd time, thus her married last name is Bell. I still have not confirmed who Myrtie's 2nd husband is and when she married him. There is only a 3 year time frame from the death of Mart Thompson and the death of Myrtie.

Thank you for reading my message. If you have any questions, I'll be very happy to answer them.
Thanks, Shirley :)

RE: Eldridge & related families
Thanks again Kathy & I understand. My Aunt Chris was an Eldridge, Clarence was her father, who was my maternal grandmothers (Lois Holland) first husband. I guess we are kin somehow or another. I do appreciate your help and know that the Memorials are in good hands. Todd

Sometimes that is all we can do.

Thanks for posting all these memorials. It really does help put the families together. Some are very confusing

LBL Cemetery Relocation
My grandmother has a book from 1975 that documents cemeteries that were impacted by the creation of Kentucky Lake. They are all numbered, and I have seen those numbers show up on Findagrave. Do you know about this book?
