This Captian John Floyd, III is my great, great grand father. He had Washington, who had Lou Washington Floyd, who had Richard (Dick) Clark Floyd.
Dick Floyd had a relationship with my birth mother, Bula Margaret Conley. After she became pregnant with me, I was given up for adoption to the Brown family [Frank and Jean Brown]. I was born, in the same year Blanche died, Feb. 4, 1961.
I contacted Dick Floyd, Jr. but all he said is, "It's not me." After he died, I was able to contact Ethel, his second wife. I went to Dick Jr.'s house and remembered my mother taking me there a few times. Betsy wanted Ethel to have nothing to do with me, so I called one more time, asked for some pictures, wrote a letter to Betsy and have not contacted her again.
