I came to this site for the purpose of conducting family research and organizing this research into a grand memorial to honor my family. It was intended to be something that succeeding generations can come to learn about their ancestral past. It is my gift to my family. |
I have extended the focus of the memorials I create to include friends, family, and people with whom I am somehow connected. Along the way I will create memorials for others and upload photos to memorials as well, especially for veterans and those trying to do their own family research. Hopefully I may be of some help to someone. If I create such a memorial and you, as a family member, make a request for a transfer I will gladly transfer the memorial to your care no questions asked. I hate those anal jerks who refuse to transfer out of guidelines. After all, it's your family. You should be the one to determine how that person is memorialized and remembered. I will not transfer a memorial for any of my family members however. I will likewise not permit anyone other than other family members to use any of my family photos or download same. If I download a photo for you to one of your memorials feel free to use your photo any way you wish.
I live a block from Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. I enjoy fulfilling photo requests for this cemetery, and often scan Find A Grave for memorials for persons buried in HCC and even Holy Name that don't have grave marker photos. If you have a special photo request for these cemeteries just let me know.

|Jerry Ryan||Thank You!!|
Ron Thank you very much for your time in getting a picture of my grandmothers, Elizabeth Ryan, grave marker. It means a lot.

I went to LA National Cemetery this afternoon and used their automated grave locator for Paul. He is not in their system so I think he may be buried elsewhere.

Ron, I am finding that I have several Lynch and Delaney relatives in that cemetery. I am trying to get their burial dates straight before I make any more requests. As a kid I looked at that cemetery through the fence on Freeman Ave where my grandmother lived. Thanks for your assistance.

Ron, thanks again.

Thanks, Ron. I appreciate the gesture.

Thank you so much for the photo of Robert Pollock's grave. It answered a few of my questions....and added a few more! Lol. I truly appreciate your kindness in adding this piece to the puzzle for me!!!!

This is Edward's headstone not John's. Would you mind moving to Edward's grave?

That would be wonderful, Ron. My handle is hungrycoyote at ancestry.com too.
Rose is my 5th cousin 1x removed from her mother's Caroselli branch of my tree. She is a closer relation to a cousin I've been helping with her father's Marsella branch.
It would also be helpful if you accept the edits I have already sent you linking parents and spouses, so I have a better idea of what is still missing.
I only recently rediscovered FindAGrave and the wonderful ability to link families together. It has been a huge help figuring out connections.
