Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am married to the same man since 1964. Parents of 3 children, 9 grand-children, 1 great-grand child. We met in Joplin, Missouri at OBC. We live now in MO after moving over 50 times. Florida and TN and Arkansas were the places we were located. I believe in the family unit strongly and believe all things can be worked out if I am willing to. I work inside when it is to hot or cold and the rest of the time I am outdoors doing what I want or what the weather allows. Critters, planting ,mending, building, fixing, sewing, are a few of my doings, learning and being in the Word.

You're welcome Deanna, I'm glad you are satisfied with the photos. You had said in your request that you thought the stone needed to be cleaned but it is really fine and very legible. The problem is that it's very near a large tree that keeps it in a shadow most of the time. I had photographed that stone before but the results weren't satisfactory. I will photograph it again if I can catch it someday when the sun is shining on it.

re: John Carter
I also emailed this to you, then I thought I should also post it here for you. Being in the Word is very important. If you clicked on my name you saw what I put on my profile page about my relationship with the Lord. This is what I emailed to you today:

Thank you so much for the added information on John Carter entry. I see that someone else has even placed an entry for even another John Carter at this cemetery with much later dates. My brother found this cemetery and is a very difficult place to research as it is very small and overgrown. Another person entered some duplicate pages the year after I placed his page, and I am not sure if it is the same John or a different one since the name John Carter is so common in that area of VA. I surely appreciate you giving me a note on the information about the one from your family, and this could also be him, but so hard to know. Here is what I have posted on that John Carter page today in two paragraphs:

A Carter relative wrote to me in June 2012 that their relative John Carter who is buried here with b date 1774 and d 1836. Mary Magdalene as wife and another Sarah Margaret. Dale and Henry are their sons. Thank you Deanna for this added information.

I include that information here in hopes it will help someone in their research, as there are numerous Taylor and Carter cemeteries in this region and the name John is repeated often of course. I am not sure if this person is that John or a different one. It will take more facts to substantially give us the correct identity data to post. At least the map associated with this cemetery and reading of other entries in this cemetery with the newspaper article will provide an interesting place to visit for those wanting to do research in person. Thanks to all who have contributed, and be sure to visit the pages of all the others buried in this cemetery by clicking on the name link of this Taylor Cemetery.

Thanks, and God Bless

Andrew Boyd
PLEASE remove the 3 flower memorials you left on Memorial # 35528629----He is not your ancestor--he was a child when he passed so had no decendants

Andrew Boyd
Cannot be the person you think--this was an infant of Charles Boyd

Andrew born 1861 died 1863

The lot was purchased by Charles Boyd on July 15, 1863.

This is the only person buried on the plot of 4 graves.

Sorry this is not who you were hoping for.

You also left 3 flowers (all the same) on the memorial.
