|MHurren||Sybil Stevens Yorgason|
Your research is super. I'm not sure if you are interested, but Sybil Stevens Yorgason is the daughter of John Stevens and Lillian Ellen Jones, both are also buried in Kohlerlawn Cemetery in Nampa. You could add those to her page. Harmon Hurren (grandson of Sybil and Joseph Yorgason)

|Leslie Vaughn||Esther Skolfield Schmidt|
Way back in May you fulfilled my request for a photo regarding Esther Schmidt's resting place. You furnished me a nice picture of the plaque at the columbarium that memorializes her and several other family members. I am so sorry I have been negligent in thanking you. Your efforts, although very late in acknowledgement, are very appreciated.
Thank you so much.

I'm a Three Stooges researcher. I've just completed a brief bio on "Joe" Henrie. If you would like me to send you a copy, email me your email addy. Mine is: email@example.com.
|Raven||Robinson Cemetery (Gualala)|
I am curious if you have any idea where the Robinson Cemetery in Mendocino County is actually located. I see you have only posted the names of the six interments, and not its location or any pictures. Could you, or someone, shed some light?

|Robin Pewtress||RE: Idaho obituaries|
Obituaries from the Idaho Statesman (Boise paper) are indexed 1961-present and Ruby is in there. However, I was wondering if you could give me a list of those you want so I don't have to make so many trips to the library?
Here is a link to the obituary index:
For example, I put in Yorgason and came up with a bunch. Do you want all of them? When the death is prior to 1961 or in another paper I need to go the state archives instead. I wouldn't be able to get there again until next Saturday probably.
Anyway, let me know if there are others and I'll try to get to them as soon as possible. Also, will need your email addy to send copies.
|Robin Pewtress||RE: Idaho obituaries|
The newspapers on microfilm at the Idaho State Archives go back a long ways. The Boise paper, goes back to before 1900.
However, back in the 1930s, not too many families in Boise area had what we consider obituaries published in the paper. Rather the newspapers took it upon themselves to report life events. Deaths due to tragic events or prominent people often made the front page back then. Little articles because the news of the day was the World War.
Anyway, I dropped in at the library today on my lunch break to look up your Joseph Yorgason. I was unable to locate any notice of death per se in either the Nampa or Boise newspapers. I did find an article in the Nampa paper published 2 days after his passing where it is mentioned that he passed recently. The article implies it may be due to a whooping cough epidemic.
|amys||RE: Schlick photos|
You're welcome, Titania! I wanted to tell you something about what I saw at the cemetery, since it was so striking! Clearly there are a bunch of relatives buried together, across a couple of adjacent lots. They all had the same lovely Christmas greenery decorations on their graves. The names were Schlick (with a "k", although there's an "h" in Mabel's and Emory's memorials), Tregay, Plass, Crowell and Montgomery. I've added photos and I think one new memorial for any that weren't already on findagrave. Perhaps you already know about these folks. If not, let me know and I'll send you the specific names and who is buried by whom. Take care, Amy

|James Lacy||RE: Joseph Carrol Henrie info|
You're welcome! Good to know Joe has a relative who remembers him. I have a copy of his death certificate, but it doesn't indicate where (or if) his ashes were buried.
|Linda Mahood Morgan||Ludlum|
I added the information you suggested. Were William, Harriet and Thomas Hogan also previously buried at Wesleyan, since they were all buried at Bellefontaine on 26 May 1892?
|LYNN BLACKER||William Henry McIntire|
Research on Beulah Belle Derby led me to one of her husband's William Henry McIntire. On the Familysearch.org website, if you insert his name, and his birth date, his correct death date comes up along with a death location of Aberdeen, Grays Harbor, WA. If you are still researching his line, maybe that will provide a clue to finding where he's buried.
