Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in the Olympia, WA area, but my genealogy roots take me to Miami Co., IN where my parents were from. My genealogy also takes me to OH, WI, MN, IL and IA for the most part of my research, which includes my husband's family research. My daughter, Jen, is my right hand companion on the road research. I wouldn't be where I am with my research without her. Recently, my brother and nephew have joined us on a couple of our trips. Thank you, Ray and David.

My main surnames for research are Repp, Collier, Gasaway, Draving, White, Erickson and Christenson. A few other surnames include Vail, Paul, Hester, Crumrine.

My husband bought me a wooden plaque one year that has become my favorite genealogy saying:

"Genealogy - Life in the past lane"

That just about says it all!!!

Amanda Judd Collier
I am a reference librarian at Anderson Public Library. I have two patrons looking for sources that prove the connection of Amanda Judd Collier to her father. Do you have or know of sources that give this proof. It would be better if you responded to this email to as I check this account more often than my personal account.

RE: Margaret (Judge) Collier question
Thank you, Jo. Are you related or a descendant? She would be my 4th great aunt.

Margaret (Judge) Collier question
Jo, I am very interested in the birth location of Margaret (Judge) Collier. I see that you manage her memorial ( but did not create it. Do you have information that verifies where she was born? Because if she was born in Montgomery County, Ohio, this could be a new lead in our Judge family search - a location we have not investigated before. I hope to hear from you, and thank you in advance! ~Elizabeth Ballard

Oh! And I duplicated your photo that had on your two memorials, that had a sun glare and your reflection showing on the face of the stone. The one I had doesn't get really large. However, if you don't approve, I will GLADLY remove mine.

FYI if you are interested, I added three more Jurgens memorials to the same cemetery as the two you had.

Descendant of Gilbert Vail
Hello Jo,

I am a descendant of Gilbert Vail and Rebecka Williams through their daughter Mary. She had a daughter through questionable circumstances, named Almira (Myra). Myra married William Henry Sires November 4, 1881. They had a number of children, including my great-grandmother Lillian Christabelle Siers Ahlers. Have little information on Gilbert except for a birthdate of May 1, 1809.

Hi from Two rivers
Hi Jo,

I went to check on my in-laws, as a test case for find a grave and see that you already entered - how do you do it from the distance?

Oh, yes, they are Melvin and Georgianna Gallagher of Two Rivers.
