Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in Riverside, Burlington County New Jersey and spent much of my first ten years there. My father died in WWII having never seen me. My step-father was in the Navy so we spent a lot of time traveling around. I graduated from high school at the Naval Base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, joined the Navy in 1961, came out to California in 1963 and have been here ever since. I have been married twice, have three children and eleven grandchildren. My second wife Sandy and I have known each other since we were five years old and have been married since 2006. I have been doing my family genealogy since 2010 and a member of Find A Grave for over four years now.

I am interested in families in the Philadelphia and Burlington County, NJ areas with last names of Freck/Frech (originally from Germany mid 1800s), Broderson/Brodersen (Denmark), Stecher (originally from Germany mid 1800s) and Hirst, originally from England. Hirst were prominent in the cigar business in Philadelphia. Additionally, I am working on my wife's family, Wetherell and Goodwin in New Hampshire.

If you see a picture of a gravestone I have taken and want to use it, by all means copy it and use as needed. If you see a family members memorial that I have created and you would like to manage it, just ask.

Max

I just want to extend my gratitude for making available my Great Uncle Tombstone. He is buried at Union Cemetary in Bakersfield Ca.
He did not have any children, my father (his nephew) was the only known relative I knew he had. This Gravestone was placed by my dad. I recently found a 2nd cousin through Ancestry that also knew Uncle Max. Thank you so much.

RE: George Racine
Hi, David Burns who has a lot of info on Racines let me know that he had the death record for George F Racine, and that he died in 1924 in Coin Iowa. He figured that he must have been buried by his wife who had died maybe 10 years earlier and that the family just never got a stone for him. Wonder if the California George Racine was related? George F and his wife were both born in Ohio. Thank you!

What an honor to have my great aunt Myrtle #136900940, to look after, thanks so much for the transfer. I'm going to try to see if I can add an actual grave marker for her, it says she is in an unmarked grave. Cheryl

George Racine 119216235
Hi you put up the picture of George Racine's stone. I wondered if you had any information about him. I found information on the a number of Racines in SW Iowa, but not for George F Racine. Age seems to be correct. Wife was 1850-1915 and children born between 1871 and 1885. Also NW Missouri area. Wife was Adeline Kitzmiller. Thank you very much. Karen Garner

Hi, Myrtle is my grandfather, Pearl Clark Strain's sister. She was born 27 September 1883, Montgomery City, Missouri. Her first spouse was Orvil C. Kinion (1880-1905)They married 24 December 1899. After his death she married Winfield Scott Bolton 21 March 1907. She died 7 April 1920. Find A Grave has her plot # but states it is an unmarked grave. Could I buy and marker and have it placed? thanks for your help Cheryl

Thomas H Dickey @ Union Cemetery
Dean, Thank you for your many contributions to Find-A-Grave. I'm interested in information regarding the Dickeys; his spouse Abbie Kesiah (Green) Dickey is my "blood" relative. My question: Your entry refers to Thomas's sister Clara Brown, and the newspaper obituary for his mother (Eugenia) refers to her daughter "Mrs. G. L. Brown". Do you have any information on Mrs. Brown? None of the biographies on Find-A-Grave include a "Clara" as a sibling of Thomas or a daughter of Eugenia; they only include Mary Dickey Morris.

Any help or direction you can provide will be most helpful.

Dean, thank you for the nice listing for the above mentioned child.

This is my husband's great uncle, being the brother of his Mother - Betty Bernice Moll Boyse.

We would like to ask if it possible if you could forward the record to us.

It would be very much appreciated and make things easier while doing our genealogy.

You have done a great job in what you have done with all the listings.

Thank You so much.
