I do not add obituaries to my memorials as Find a grave has rules against it and because I do not own the copyright to them, or to pictures from the funeral homes. Adding obit and pictures breaks the copyright law, I do not want to be sued.

I do not link to unknown burials because if you have not found them in eons and ages you are not going to find them in a month and the fact that Find a grave has rules about unknown burials. Find A Grave's primary purpose is a grave registration site. If you don't know where the grave is, IT DOES NOT BELONG ON FIND A GRAVE.

RE: Susan and Groves Howard
Interesting stuff...it would be great to confirm the military service and pension for Groves Howard.

I was looking at the 1870 and 1880 census today. In 1870 Susan was living with William A. (her son) in Livermore, McLean Co., KY. In 1880 Susan was living with Benjamin B. Howard (her son) also in Livermore, McLean Co., KY. She died just five years later in est 1885. This location sure is a good candidate for her burial.

RE: Susan and Groves Howard
Dear Anita,
Thank you for your reply to my request. I understand your reluctance to get involved with "Unknown Burial" memorials. Actually I didn't know any one created memorial like that. However I was glad to find them because the information lead me to more data for Susan, Groves and their children.

I have been trying to find their burial location...so far no luck. Hope you have better luck. I did find memorials for three of their children: Thomas Owen Howard (1841-1921)#60395274; William Allen Howard (1846-1917)#113894350; Sarah Jane Howard (1846- ) #140084121. I am still looking for Benjamin Brodie Howard (1847-1934).

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Regards, Margaret Ruth (Owen) Parsons

Crowe Hill Cemetery
Hi Anita, thank you for creating the listings for the Crowes in Crowe Hill Cemetery, Livermore. Could you please tell me the location of the cemetery? These Crowes are in my family tree and next time I'm in Kentucky I'd like to visit this cemetery. thanks, Tracey Crow
