Dear Mr. Patton, For the past 26 years, I have been searching for the last resting place of the 992 men who served in the 86th Illinois during the Civil War. To date, I am currently sitting at 850 located. That leaves me 142 yet to find. One of the men that I believe that I have found, but not sure that I have found is Private James B. Matthews, who served in Co. B of the 86th Illinois. If possible would you go to my Virtual Cemetery for Co. B, go to my site that I have set up for James B. Matthews, that includes his photograph, go through it and tell me what you think? Can you tell me anymore about your James B. Matthews? Looking forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Baxter

I send you a request to connect Anna Marsh as well as Leonard Marsh with their parents Eliza and Sidney Marsh. I would do it from my side but unfortunately I cannot connect children with their parents. You have the edit option for the parents. Please connect them so others who research this family have an easier time finding relations.
