I am happy to transfer any memorial unless it is one of my own close relatives. |
My family names are Dillard, Cowan, Jackson, Humphrey, Weeks and McAfee. Most in Texas or South Carolina.
I am happy to take photos of any grave in my area of Guthrie, OK. I try to add as many photos as I can if they are my own or from a relative or friend. Now that I am retired I can go more often. So let me know if I can help you get your loved one on findagrave. The grave site will also be linked to ancestry.com which helps so many people get more information about their ancestors and relatives.

So kind of you to respond!
I can't find any further info on Thomas Hill Jackson's parents.
His son was Samuel Jackson.
His wife Elizabeth Campbell's gravestone in Falls County Texas has her mother's name listed with Crockett in parentheses. I am not sure if that means Crockett was her maiden name or has some other meaning.
From your experience studying headstones what do you think?

Do you have any further information?
I am interested in finding his parents.
And his occupation. His title says Dr. I am wondering if he is a physician?

These are my 2nd great grandparents. Wonderful to find this information!
On Elizabeth's headstone it lists her parent's names, so helpful!!
Under her mother's name it says Crockett. Is Crockett her mother's maiden name?
On the family information on the left of her headstone picture it says her mother's maiden name is Rayburn.
Do you know which one is correct?
Thanks so much!

|Karen Baker||Herrings of Tennessee|
Thank you for the information about your Herrings. I found my Mother in 2011 (deceased) and am still looking for my Father. I have had some close matches (DNA) on Ancestry and have an idea who he may be, but no definite proof. If you are on Ancestry look up my Aunts line The Emily Herring tree. I've done a lot of research.

No, I'm not related to her. I have been told and verified it today that there is a section of the Masonic cemetery that has been renamed the IOOF. It makes it very confusing and I have accidentally made duplicates myself. :)

One of Jean Adair's siblings was Joseph Adair, Jr. I descend him Joseph's son Robert who is my 4th GGF... Joseph married Sarah Dillard. I donít know if there is a connection between Sarah and your Dillard.
