Bio and Links
Bio Photo Dale and Corinne were both born and raised in southern Minnesota. Family has always been important and family stories and information has been remembered and recalled often. Corinne first began her 'official' family quest in 1947 when she began quizzing family members and taking notes. Dale has been the photographer and many a memory and ancestor has been preserved.

The family project has taken both of them to interesting people and places, not to mention interesting events of history.

Corinne is the genealogist, Dale the photographer and principal maintainer of this site and children Gail, Kathy, Serle and Lisa have also been active contributors.

We are happy to make family connections, corrections or add information with a request. Will transefer to direct family members only to the fourth generation (per FAG guidelines). Very often ther are multiple relatives requesting the same memorial.
If requesting a transfer, please indicate how you are related.

The idea behind Find-A-Grave is not to own all your relatives memorials. We have too many contributors who want the memorial simply because they are a relative & they have minimal or no additional information to contribute to the memorial.

Hi,

I'm wondering if you would consider removing the photo that you added of her. I added one yesterday that is much more flattering than the one that was with the obituary originally.

Thank you for your consideration!

Blessings,
High Plains :)

Olive Thelma Evjen Olson
I am the sexton of Trinity Lutheran cemetery in Madelia where Ollie and Howard are buried. Actually they lived next door to me in Madelia. I see you and I both have submitted in to Find-A-Grave for Ollie. I see yours is prior to mine but we do have information that is not included in the other one. I propose transferring management to you since you have the earlier submittal. Let me know your thoughts.
I also had a phone call today from the Mankato Mortuary handling the services of Robert Elletson who passed away Jan. 4, 2017 and the family wants to bury him by cremation latter this spring. His mother Thelma Olson Elletson and Aunt Inez Olson are buried in the Olson Lot at Trinity Cemetery.

His obituary is as follows:Robert's Story
Robert Allen Elletson, 82 of North Mankato, died January 4, 2017 at Oak Terrace Assisted Living in North Mankato.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
Bob was born May 30, 1934 to Glenn and Thelma (Olson) Elletson in Madelia, MN. He was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Madelia. Bob graduated from Madelia High School in 1952 and received his Bachelor's degree in English and History from Gustavus Adolphus College in 1956. He taught in Truman and St. Charles, MN. From 1957 to 1963, Bob served in the US Army stationed in southern Bavaria. He was a specialist five in the 320th Army Security Agency Battalion. During his Army training, Bob also took 47 weeks of Russian at The Presidio of Monterey in California. From 1963 to 1992, Bob worked for the CIA ending as a Branch Chief for the Office of Soviet Analysis. In his free time, Bob enjoyed traveling the world, photography, music, and reading.
Bob is survived by his sisters, Merle Teague of Frisco, TX, Margaret (Jerry) Orness of Mankato, and Mary Roehl of Brooklyn Park, MN; 7 nieces and nephews and their families; cousins and families and cousin Barb (Olson) Beckman and her husband, John of Plymouth, MN. He is preceded in death by his mother; and aunt, Inez Olson.

The family has not contacted me yet. My thought is to bury him in the only remaining grave on the Olson Lot. The funeral home mentioned they had a lot at Trinity but there is no Elletson lot.

I look forward to hearing from you on this burial and the transfer of Ollie management.
