RE: Ida Strunk # 109746985
Hi, Jeanette,
My email is

I am going to email you what I have in my family tree for Christian Heinrich Strunk. I am wondering if Frances was a sister to Christian Heinrich. I cannot figure out for sure who Henry Niehaus is either. Ida Twachtmann Strunk's mother's maiden name was Niehaus. She may have had a brother named Henry that we did not know about. I have been trying to untangle the Cincinnati Niehaus's for a long time.

Thanks. Joyce

Mildred Ida Nolting Niehaus was a niece of Ida Twachtman. Mildred was my great aunt. The Henry Strunk in my family tree was the son of Christian Heinrich Strunk (also Henry) and Wilhelmina Unknown. I have a brother for Henry named Frederick Strunk (1856-1935). Frederick married Catharine Nepper.

I do not have a sister, Frances, listed, and I had not found an 1870 census listing for Henry and Frances. That is new information. The fact that Frances married a Henry Niehaus is also new information to me, but Henry Niehaus may be Gerhard Heinrich Niehaus, the long lost brother of my great grandfather. Was the 1870 Census record from Cincinnati? When was Frances born? Was she married in 1870?

I have access to and will continue to research this. Keep me posted if you find out anything more. I will let you know if I find anything new. Joyce

Leon Williams
Hi Jeanette,

I am so excited to have found this site! My husbands father, Leon Williams, died in 1973 when my husband was just 2 yrs old. He has been told very few details about his Dad and now that he is turning 45 and we have 3 children he is becoming more and more curious about who Leon was and any details he can find.
It looks like you entered in Leon Williams info on Feb 2015... Fairview Cemetery, Dennis Lot 245 Grave 1 .... we currently live in Arizona so we do not have access to the cemetery very easily, obviously.
Is there any way you can take some pictures of Leon's Grave or do you have someone I can be put in contact with who might be able to make that happen?
I would love to surprise my husband with this, as he has never seen his Dads grave site.
My email is

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

I can appreciate that. Please reread my previous note on cemetery records. I have also attached my burial source for him. If you find another better source for his burial please make a request to place him there.
Thank you

Thank you for adding the death certificate, which conclusively shows my edit request was an error. Thank you also for taking the time to verify my request before approving it.

Thank you so much for your effort. I am also a find a grave contributor so I know how it is to not find what I am looking for. I hate having to tell people there is no headstone. Know that your continued contributions are appreciated.
