Fields Family.
Just like to read and see what you have done on here Dennis. Now your 4th Great Grandfather, Randolph Fields-1828-1904 was my 2nd Great Grandfather, David B. Fields-1848-1926 Brother. I really like digging around on here and finding all I can about the Family and then finding I have cousins in parts of the Country that I would not even know did exist if it were not for place like this. History is my favorite subject and of course Family History is a great one. I will keep looking as long as I can. Thank you for all you have done.

RE: Fullen Snead
2nd cousin, 4x removed is closer than me. Do you want any of the other Sneads transferred? Holy cow, Fullen and Kate sure had a bunch of kids. I lost count at 12. Tommy

RE: Fullen Snead
OK, I see what you mean by the name change. I saw a similar thing with a great uncle, who was born Thomas Stafford Kiser and died as Joseph "Joe" Kiser. Everybody knew him as Joe and had no idea he was born Thomas Stafford until I started searching late 1800s records. I guess he just liked to be called Joe. Findagrave does not appear to have a policy about this anomaly. I would like to list him by the name that most people would search for, which is probably Whitley Fullen Snead (since there is a WFS, Jr., and to include an explanation within the biography. Thanks for your input. I hope that's OK with you. Tommy Wood. p.s. If you're related, I'd be happy to transfer and then you can make it anything you'd like.

Fullen Snead
Hi, Dennis,

You submitted a name change for Fullen Snead, but I was curious and tried to find records on ancestry.com that might confirm the name. The closest I found was a delayed birth record for his son which gave his name as Whitley Fullen Snead, so I hesitate to change his first name to Phillip unless you know of some record that I have not found, or you are related and know somehow through family.

Am curious what evidence you have for burial in this cemetery for William Mullins and his wife. Do you have pictures of graves? If so I will reference you in my files as source . Thanks Marsha

RE: Fields graves in Stiltner Cemetery
Hey, I'll be going back up to this cemetery in the next few days...for some reason I deleted some of the grave markers and the photos of the cemetery. I bought a new camera and I'm just now getting used to it. There are several graves with rocks as markers...so if you know of anyone that is buried there add them. I have also worked the cemetery across from it...behind Riverview Elem. I bet you have several family members buried there if you are kin to the Stiltners.
