I live in Uniontown Ohio; Professional firefighter and paramedic for the City of Stow FD, and Uniontown FD (OH). I am very interested in my family history, as well as helping others with their searches. Uniontown is halfway between Akron (Summit Co) and Canton (Stark Co), so I would be willing to travel to many areas in northeast Ohio.|
I am searching for the following:
RIPPLINGER and FLICKINGER (from Summit/Stark/Wayne counties OH)
CHRISTENSEN/CHRISTENSON & MAYER (from Summit County OH)
BORDEN (from Lucas/Ottawa OH & Washington County PA)
KUEHNLE & NAPIER & HALL (from Lucas/Ottawa Counties OH)
LANDON & HEWITT (Franklin County OH)
WALKER (from Miller County MO & Pratt County KS)
McKINNEY & BOND (from Wayne & Carter KY)
WYRICK & STEPHENS & MULLEN & BILYEU & HAWLEY & GOLDEN (from Miller County MO)
GUEST & MILNER & HIGGINBOTHAM & PARKINSON (from London Ontario)
HARRISON (from London Ontario to Summit County OH)
WISE (from PA to Greentown OH)
BLOOD & GOETZKE (from MN)
MYERS (from Cambria County PA)
GRESSLEY & RAY (from Indiana County PA).
FEEL FREE TO USE MY PHOTOS ANY WAY YOU WANT. As far as I'm concerned, I took them for YOU, so they belong to YOU. However, if you are going to use it on Ancestry, make sure it's not already there before you add it.
Please use the "EDIT" tab to ask for EACH transfer request. PLEASE STATE YOUR RELATIONSHIP TO THE DECEASED. If this rule is not followed, your request will be ignored. I follow Findagrave guidelines for transfers and I make transfers that don't meet these guidelines on a case by case basis.
The goal is not to "own" every memorial of those to whom you are related. The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it.
****If you volunteer on this website and decide you no longer want to maintain the records please transfer your records to someone who has an active account and willing to take over the records. I am one of many willing to take over records. This really will help reduce duplicates. It would also be a good idea to leave someone instructions on how to do make these transfers should you go inactive without warning.***** Thank You (Borrowed from another FAG Contributor)

|Jackie R.||Aldine B. Marshall Memorial|
Stephanie at Stark County Library checked with the cemetery and another source she had and we've concluded that his name really was Aldine and he died in 1899. Thanks so much for maintaining these memorials. Jackie R.

Hi Jason, I'm searching for a correct death date with Stark District Library and hope I can get back to you soon. I don't know for sure that the numbers for his age at death were good enough for an accurate transcription due to the condition of the marker. Thanks so much for your patience with this. Best, Jackie Ruttinger
|Jackie R.||Edward Marshall Memorial#82972759|
I've submitted dates for Edward Marshall. I see that what you're using comes from Stark Co. Cemetery Inscriptions and the marker is so weathered that the year was read wrong. “Stark County, Ohio, Death Records,” Stark County Chapter, The Ohio Genealogical Society, 1991, pp. 300-301, says 1893. I believe this is correct and closer to "age 40" given in the 1870 census of Alliance and age 21 in the 1850 census of Randolph, Portage Co. Thanks so much for your attention to detail and assistance with this.
Best, Jackie Ruttinger
|kitzkamp||George Albertus Kitzmiller part 2|
The person you have as George Albertus Kitzmiller is simply George Kitzmiller. No middle initials are shown on any census nor other documents for him. He was the son of John Kitzmiller (1797-1850) and Sarah Steiner (1812-1902) and never married.

|kitzkamp||George Albertus Kitzmiller|
This entry is an error. I have the largest and most thorough Kitzmiller database on Ancestry that one can find. There is no where that the name George is ever mentioned. The A.A. stands for Albertus Andrew. Albertus Andrew Kitzmiller was born 3 Jan 1847 in Canal Fulton, Stark, Ohio and died 24 Jun 1926 in Los Angeles, California. He remarried after the death of Emma F. Sherrick. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Please approve my edits for my family. I would not have requested them if I were not sure. Clyde Boltz is my mother's brother and they are both buried in Woods Cemetery. Thanks so much!!

Please check these Edits, thank you
|hah25||Albert Hollinger # 123117778|
Can you tell me if any other Hollinger's are buried beside him. I can not identify him because of no birth date. Almost all of the Hollinger's in Stark County are related.
Thank you for your help.

Please check your edits in Find A Grave. I have asked that Ethleen Kynett Memorial# 82972925 be linked to her mother and husband & Maude C Anderson be linked to her mother & husband Memorial# 89298887. Thank you,

Good evening Jason,
Thanks for your quick attention to the edits I've been sending for the Old Bethel ME Cemetery for the last year. It's been a pleasure working with you on this small country cemetery! I just wanted to let you know I came across a duplicate memorials. I don't mind which of them you remove, just wanted to bring it to your attention. Memorial # 133972554 and 133972671. I'll go hunting for the headstone to go with the the memorial in the coming week or so.
