Memorial #10391224 - Chillicothe Cemetery, Wapello Co., IA.

In addition to my email to you yesterday asking where you got that she was born in Monroe Co., OH and my advising she was born in Rockingham Co., NC to John Adkinson, Jr. not James Adkinson and Mary Brown, the below particular census may help you.

James - 27, b OH
Sarah J - 24, b OH

Jeremiah - 15, b OH

Take care,

Henry Petty #78446668
Hi Carol,

I am looking for one of Henry's children that is not listed on his memorial. Her name was Alta Beavers. She married Oka Beavers in 1911, I believe. Do you happen to have any information on this family? I saw that you left flowers on this stone and I thought maybe you'd be able to help.

Thank you,
Cathy

Sarah Alice Swander's children
Hi Carol,

This is my first time logging into Find A Grave. I found your entry for Sarah Alice Swander Hodge and would like to thank you for all the work you've put into uploading that information. I came to tears when I saw the photo of Sarah Alice and the rest of her family. I have read a poem she wrote about the loss of her daughter, Eva Belle, and just seeing a photo of her was an emotional experience. You may be interested to know my grandfather was Lester Dewey Hodge, 1898-1981, a brother of Clarence David and Eva Belle. I met him several times as youth and was told that my great grandfather (George Duncan Hodge and Sarah's husband) held me on his lap during a visit many years ago. Thank you again for all the work you have done to add these memorials to the Internet. I was searching to verify that Sarah Alice was actually William Jefferson Swander's daughter when I found your memorial, confirmed what I thought was true. Best regards, Ken Hodge

PHOEBE ULLEM
Curiousity question: See you mention 'cousin' on your flower on Phoebe's memorial - would you happen to be related to the Cooks or Ullems?
My ggg grandfather, Jacob Cook, was Phoebe's father and I would be interested in visiting with you if there is a Cook connection!
Thank you.

Thank you so much - it's beautiful. They are my relatives, but never met them. I'm in Tacoma, Washington, but their part of the family settled in Colorado after leaving Kolb, Russia. I really do appreciate this very much. Thank you...
