Bio and Links
Bio Photo I transfer all memorials of people who are not related to me to other contributors who will take care of them until family requests them. The memorials I have kept are mostly my grandparents or those of my husband and I will not be transferring those.

DO NOT take my photos without giving me proper credit. You may use my photos on any website or in your own personal records as long as a photo credit is given back to me.

My current project is the Ft. Supply Insane Asylum Cemetery. The Insane Asylum was opened in 1908. There's a long history of mistreatment and abuse of the inmates up until the 60s or so. Inmates were buried with simple concrete markers, the majority of which have been damaged. I have been working with the graves list and have spent an enormous amount of time piecing together stone fragments and matching people to a stone and a lot number. Everyone deserves to be known by someone and many of these people were forgotten long ago.

Heather, I found this same article. The photo is not Thomas Goyen but an officer who told a story that mentioned Thomas as a young recruit who was with him when he captured an office and got a medal for it. I can send you the article. I'm sorry. I was excited at first when I found the article. I can send you the mans name as I am at work now.

Ken Goyen
Thomas Goyen photo
I found that the photo on Thomas'served record appears to be the same as a photo on the 3rd Iowa Calvary website of a medal of honor recipient. I believe the photo is not of Thomas who served in the same unit.

Wiley Ratliff Ft Supply Insane Hospital
I have been looking for this gg uncle for years. Thank you for your work in this project. Would never have found him if you had not taken the time to cross reference stones with patients. I was wondering if you knew of anyother info that may be available for the patients, particularly for Wiley. Again thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Helllo, I am also a relative Martha Goyen Ladd as she was my Great Grandmother. I just met Pat and she is doing great work. We both have lots of pics and documentation. Very interesting that you are working on the Fort Supply project.

Goyen/Ladd etc
I am related to the Goyen's you have listed and am wondering if we are related. I am doing some work with info from another great grand-daughter and if you are not related, would you consider transferring them to me 48524318 Patricia Slattery Delaney. Thanks for any info and help.
