Dr William G Cochran
Hi Don, have been working on my Cochran line & saw your entry for Dr Cochran, I know it has in the LA Times obit that he was scheduled to be buried in Angelus Rosedale cemetery but he is buried in Evergreen. If you look up Evergreen, there is a tombstone photo with he & wife, Anna M. Hunt Cochran & their dates with Wm G's parents info. I don't know how the LA Times messed up but they did. Check it out. Myron Tarble
Thanks for the response abt Carra. if you happen to live near the Angelus Rosedale Cemetery you may be able to find out something about Myron's headstone from the manager there. I can't help but think his headstone is in storage, or that it was placed on the ground to make mowing the lawn easier. if the latter it is possible that it could be found by poking the earth near Carr's grave sire with a barbque skewer. This happens frequently at the Mountain View cemetery in Fresno where I live and soft soil may be a problem at Rosedale. Just a thought. On the other hand if it can be established that the stone for Myron no longer exists it should be possible to get a replacement marker for him (if it can be demonstrated from the Cemetery's records that he rest beside Carra).

RE: Herman Silver
I'm not too far so I'll go check it out. You never know with an old cemetery like Rosedale, so many sections are in disrepair there may not even be a headstone.

RE: Herman Silver
No problem. Do you know if anyone has tried to take a photo of his headstone yet?

Hello Don,
I uploaded a photo to the above memorial. The birth year is off a few years and the date of death is off a few days but I have a feeling this is the same person. Let me know whether to leave the picture there or to remove!
