|Roy Austin||John Davis Varnado|
Buried in G R Varnado family cemetery in Hillsdale, St. Helena Parish, LA. Notes have his parents as George Riley Varnado and Elizabeth Frank Varnado. This cannot be, as George Riley Varnado died in 1904. Birth date for John Davis Varnado shows 1910. Same goes for other two infants listed in cemetery. These are likely grandchildren.
|Buie Harwood||Sarah Jane Johns Chaddick|
Parents of Sarah Jane Johns Chaddick:
Amelia Farrar Causey (b. 3/30/1825, d.aft. 1880)
m. AFC 6/28/1838 Amite Co. MS Griffin Johns (farmer; b.abt. 1817 Amite Co. MS, d.bef. 1870; Mississippi Marriages, 1776-1935)
Sarah Jane (Jane; b. 1839 Amite Co. MS, d. 1903 Little Red Church Cem, St. Landry Par. LA; m. Richard R. Chaddick b. 1832 Amite Co.; in the 1880 US Census, he and his family live in St. Landry Par. LA; he served in the Civil War)
I am pretty sure this is accurate, but the gravesites are not linked. You can double check me. Sarah's gravestone date states b. 1830, so that seems incorrect.
Parents of Amelia Farrar Causey:
Susanna Jackson (b. 3/1789-1790 Sumter SC or Hancock GA, d. 5/10/1839/1855; SAR #75869)
m. SJ 8/30/1806 Wilkinson Co. MS Capt. William Causey sr. (b. 7/6/1744 County Galway, Ireland, d. 7/3/1828 at old Causey Springs Plantation [homestead] near Berwick, Thomas Causey Cem, Amite Co.; Mississippi Marriages, 1776-1935
I have been researching the Jackson-Toler families. B.Harwood
|Graves||RE: Sidney Verbeek|
Sorry to take so long to get back to you on Sidney Verbeek's memorial (# 90038323). I was out of town for about a month helping my mother. I've updated his memorial with information from his death notice. It appears he wasn't married to either of the women noted in your message unless the name listed as his wife in his death notice was his 2nd wife.

|Cory (CSC)||Headstone pics|
Sorry but I forgot to mention that any headstone picture that I have added to your memorials at Knox Cemetery are all in the O'Neal (Old Jones Creek Baptist) Cemetery on South Harrell's Ferry Road.
The old baptist cemetery or O'Neal Cemetery are one in the same as that was the location of the original Jones Creek Baptist Church before it moved to Jones Creek Road and eventually changed their name to Woodlawn Baptist Church.
|Cory (CSC)||RE: Thank you!|
Thanks Pam. I too get some of my info from book sources but I also enjoy being outside and walking/exploring new areas. My best source has been reading obits from genealogybank.com, which by the way is a great website and has been very valuable to me.
|Cory (CSC)||Thank you!|
Thanks Pam for your help concerning Knox and O'Neal Cemeteries!

Your question of the spelling of the last name. I got my info from the Nationwide Gravesite Locator:
|Rob Riley||RE: Celeste Bassett Harris - Stockade Cemetery|
|Linda Carter||Vol. 1 Wilkinson Co MS cemeteries|
Honey Gross wanted to do a follow up but did not get it done before she died. I have one I have personally done on my own computer but it is not public. Would love to meet you if you ever get close to Woodville. Even tho we have sign saying "Evergreen Annex" no one ever refers to it as Annex. All graves are referred as being in Evergreen Cemetery. Thanks for all you have done. As I said before Find-A-Grave has much more correct information than Ancestry.com. My husband and I took pictures of lots of the cemeteries in Wilkinson Co. and a friend put them on internet under foswms.com I think. He did a great job‼️
