Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am researching my own family as well as documenting cemeteries. I feel it is important to photograph stones before they are forever lost to time.

Please do not take offense if I add a different photo to a memorial page. Maybe the photo I took gives a different perspective due to time of year, lighting, etc. Of course, I welcome any additional photos and/or editions to memorials I have created.

Photo Use: If I took the gravestone photo, feel free to use it. Please do not use personal family photos without my permission.
Edits: Use the Edit button on the memorial page for additions/corrections. Do not use personal email for edits unless absolutely necessary.

P.S. I just want to give a special thank you to all the people who volunteer to take photo requests. Many times it is impossible to see a grave in person and your photo is the next best thing. Many thanks for your time. Paying it forward!

Hi Kimberly, I researched through my records and it appears that I have the wrong photo on this gentleman. I added the correct one. Thanks for the heads up. Sorry it took so long. I had no access to my F.A.G. records for awhile. Joz

RE: John Capt Boggs

Your John Boggs is the son of your William Boggs located in Cross Creek Cem. PA. The Capt. John Boggs Sr. Is the son of William Boggs and Elizabeth Hutchison of Back Creek, Frederick Co., VA. The original house still exists and is on the National Register.

John Capt Boggs
BOGGS and Sue,

I want to discuss the William Boggs 106151563 and the two Capt. John Boggs 1739-1826 36974758 and John Capt. Boggs 1739-1819 69277286.

Here are my comments for John Capt. Boggs 1739-1819. This is probably the son for William Boggs 106151563.

Capt. John Boggs 1739-1826 36974758 is my Ancestor he died in Pickaway Co. OH and is buried there. His father was William Boggs Sr. Who lived in VA and died there. His wife was Elizabeth Hutchison. They had two sons William Boggs Jr. And John. There is a will and his house is still standing on Back Creek Frederick Co. VA. We do not know where he was buried.

William and Capt John Boggs
There is a problem with the two Capt. John Boggs. I am going to have dialogue with two others on this by email. I have documents of Capt John Boggs father William Boggs in VA. Where did you get the 1819 death date for your entry? The other entry which is mine should not be under this William Boggs.

Thanks for reminding me to add Frank's middle name. I did not add the military service you sent because it is not his. Frank was not alive to have served in the 1860's. The info you had was for another gent of the same name, and that data is already on his memorial. Still, thanks for your kindness in sending both.

Lieut John T Rowley
Maybe there is a mistake somewhere, I did find a John N. Rowley with the same years of birth and death but not a duplicate of my memorial.

Unless you provide a registration number for the duplicate, I cannot delete my memorial.

John T Rowley Record added: Jul 05, 2007

I did research with the T inital and without. This is as close as I can come to a duplicate.
