For me, photographing cemeteries has evolved from an interest in genealogy, nature, and a quest for understanding life. I enjoy following the paths of my ancestors, searching for their final resting places. I also enjoy fulfilling photo requests. Finding graves brings a rush that makes the search worthwhile. Photo volunteer work is just a small way of contributing and giving something back to others. Cemeteries are by nature peaceful places, and I enjoy the peace I find while searching. Yet, my favorite cemeteries are those that are filled with activity, either relatives visiting their loved ones, joggers, or people walking their dogs.
Currently Pekin IL is home base (but I love to travel).

I just found this site while trying to find some information about a cemetary in Dallas County. While searching, I decided to look for my family name at Pine Grove Cemetary in Pulaski County. I found my father, mother and oldest brother listed. Also, my middle brother, Bob is listed as a sibling. However, my name isn't listed as a child of JL and Velma.
Although, I will be placed in Riverwood Memorial, I would like for my name to be recognised as one of their children.
So, the question is, how do I get my name listed?
Thanks in advance for your help.
James (Jim) D. Spurgers

Thank you for accepting the edits for the memorial of Clara Blayney #99205118
I would be pleased if you would go to my Bio and visit my parents' memorials by clicking on their links.

Thank you so much. I will use your suggestion about the link. In fact, I will start doing that on all my relatives that have a Find A Grave record. I have done it on a few - for those few photos taken by people who will not share them.
Again, thank you. I really appreciate.

Hi, May I use your photo of my cousin's headstone in my family tree on Ancestry.com?

On my father's find-a-grave site, there are 3 photos of his headstone. The maximum number of photos is 5. I would like to post a photo of my father as a adult and a photo of him with the family. Is it possible for you to remove 2 of the photos of the headstone?
Thank you. Mary Borges

Hi Greg, Just going through my emails and I don't know if I thanked you for the photo of the headstone of Arthur N Engstrom. If I didn't I do apologize as I usually do that straight away.
Margaret from Australia.
I cannot find this cemetery. I have driven all around this field, I think
I would like to get the correct G P S for it

I just realized that I never thanked you for the photos you took of my cousin's grave back in October - thank you so much for doing that for me! It means a lot!

Sorry about the other two. I am looking for any information on the Draper family. I am only able to find up to my GG-Grandfather David Draper, born in Ohio and died in Callaway County, Missouri. Just thought you might have some info. Marsha
