I'm not a memorial collector and am more than happy to transfer ownership of any memorials that are your family. If there are any changes or corrections you'd like to make to any of these memorials or if you'd like a transfer, please use the edit tab. |
Some of the Winnebago County memorials were created using indices compiled by the Winnebagoland Genealogical Society and Janet Eiler.
Some of the early Riverside memorials were created with the help of Ginny Cross's "Riverside Cemetery Burials 1841-1908-an incomplete list."
Note: Permission granted to use any headstone photo that I've added to Find A Grave for any genealogical use, as long as they are not offered for sale.

Thank you so much for the photo. I created a memorial for Opals husband Fritz .. Memorial # 178591570. Could you please add the photo to that as well?

Thanks for well-done memorial photos. Margaret Rockefeller's flower is a nice touch. I have added Sidney Ward Keyes, spouse of Nora Keyes. Can you add the same tombstone photo for him?

Thank you for the photo. I will investigate the birthdate ... I was going off obit and sometimes they tend to differ. Thanks for pointing that out :)

You asked if she could be buried under her other husbands name, that might be possible.
She was born Ida May Wood, married Firim Lacourse, and then married Charles Barlow.
The obit says:
Mrs. Ida May Barlow, wife of Charles, died at her home on 740 Tenth Street, Saturday evening just before 7 o'clock. The deceased was 41 years of age. She is survived by her husban and 3 children. Funeral services will be Wednesday at St John's Church, Rev. J. C. Hogan officiating. Internment is to be in Riverside Cemetery.
