|I have a great family. My mother has been doing genealogy for the past 50 years. She has been an inspiration for everyone. Being well documented on my side of the family, I have been trying to research my husband's family and my children's. |
"I'm Here Because of You!!" is on the front of all the print outs I give to family members. My feelings for those who have gone before us is that which is deeply tied to a loving God. Coming from two strong famlies with a rich belief in faith, how could I not love finding family, both present and past.
Hope you found the momerials helpful as I have a great deal of respect for those who are gone but never forgotten.
If you have additional info or corrections on any of my listing, please email them to me and I will get it taken care of as soon as possible.

|RKrugh||Burnt Cabins Cemetery|
I'm heading to Shade Gap soon (if my back allows me) and wanted to visit the Burnt Cabins Cemetery. I was unable to find it when I searched and there aren't any directions on the page. I couldn't quite read the info on the sign post.
Do you have GPS coordinates for the cemetery or directions on how to get there ?
I live in Pittsburgh about 120 miles away and I didn't want to have to search for the cemetery.
No rush since it may be summer or later when my back heals a little more.

|Abinadi||Robinson, John E., Christening Record|
Thanks for the photos of the Burnt Cabins area and especially the church.
I have just discovered that my g-grandfather John E. Robinson (1862-1930) may have been born in Burnt Cabins, Dublin Tsp, in Fulton County.
Finding his christening record is key to discovering, for certain, his father's name (believed to be William Robinson) and his mother's name (totally unknown to myself). My question is does anybody have knowledge of that area and what the potential churches of sufficient longevity there are that might contain a written record of that birth or christening event? I'm looking for an angel to help here because this could be the key to breaking through a brick wall of long standing (four+ decades). I reside in Panama, so it is a little expensive to drive over to Burnt Cabins to find this information. I'll be anxiously waiting to see if you know how I could contact someone in authority at the pictured church as well as any other churches there that might have records dating back to the early 1860s. Thanks so much.

Thank you so much for posting the fine photo of the stone for Elizabeth C. FORE TROUT #23692103
Since the same stone is actually for her husband and two of their children, could you please post the same photo to their stones also?

Or if you prefer, may I have your permission to do so in your behalf, with full credit to you?
Thank you so much!

|Joyce Blaylock||William Bishop|
The next time you go to the cemetery and have time could you tell me what the headstone said.
William Bishop died 19 Oct 1882, burial at Antionch Cemetery.
Thank you so very much.
|Susan Makky||Daniel H Miller, McConnellsburg Presbyterian Cemetery|
Daniel is my 3rd great grandfather. I couldn't help but notice you also photographed a headstone for a Mary M Miller (unk-1878) at the same cemetery. I was wondering if you knew if she and Daniel were in the same or nearby plots. Daniel's father is named William, and Mary is "wife of William." Dealing with such common names can be tough, any help appreciated. Thanks

Cindy, I made a memorial for George W Ritchey's wife, Mary A. Ritchey. Could you add the same great photo to Mary's memorial. Thank you. Mary
