Bio and Links
Bio Photo At this point, I will not be changing information on memorials from that found on the marker. That includes dates, and names, up to and including Jr./Sr. If it is not on the marker, and can be confirmed that information will be added in the bio area of the memorial.

Reason for this, currently the "transcribe" function that is being used by some to download photos, are being transcribed by others that in most cases are not from the area, and not familiar with the names in the areas. This is causing many, many duplicates. Perfect example, recently, I found a cemetery with less than 1000 memorials that had photos transcribed, initially creating 200 plus duplicates. A FAG tool was able to delete 150 of these, but unfortunately 70 memorials had to be handled individually with emails being sent to the contributor of record.

Thanks for your understanding.

Linison Frye McKenzie
Venroe McKenzie is SON of Linison Frye McKenzie they are buried in a joint plot. Linison was first wife of the preacher, Fitchue B. McKenzie and died following childbirth of the infant Mckenzie (also buried in Piney Grove) - the baby is buried in the coffin with Linison.

I did find a Carrie Matilda Nunamaker that was born the same year as the one listed as his first wife. I also found a file I needed to see, but have to wait for the owner of it to approve it. I hope this is the connection needed, but I am certain of nothing at this point. I will let you know more if I find any more on this person. Thank you. Beverly.

Fort Jackson
Hi,

I have been sending corrections out on Fort Jackson.

Problem with 5-34 example is that old people like myself and others don't have any idea what that means.

Please also the Sec 5 Lot 567 example go thru. This will make everything easier for us old people.

Yes, he had 2 wives, the first one was Carrie Elizabeth "Mattie" Boswell. The 2nd one was Mary Eugenia Smoak. I saw the death certificate for George, No idea where that last name came from. My information comes from ancestry.com and they are related to my grandmother. In the 1900 census, he was married to Mattie. It also said that Elliott and Carrie "Mattie" had a son named Robert C. White, and Elliott Cantey and Mary E. Smoak White had a son named Robert Riley. The only Mattie Wannamaker I found on ancestry was a different ethnicity.
