Bio and Links
Bio Photo I find “Find A Grave” a wonderful source for genealogical research. There is information and pictures on the site that are not found anywhere else. I also feel the memorials pay homage to our ancestors.

The photographs I have posted on this site are not copyrighted. I hope that they help in your genealogy.

Find A Grave rules state that the memorial should be as engraved on the stone. I'll put on note as to the other spelling on the memorial.

Thanks for writing.

RE: Phebe Jane Paden
HI John,

Concerning Phebe Paden buried at Earlham Wayne co Ind.
Gosh John that is a hard one to answer as that cemetery is huge and I have taken thousands since then.
Do you know of another spelling for Paden the family is not common to the area but I found Benjamin in Wayne co Indiana by 1830 and in Darke county Ohio before that.

My wife and I drove several times to Earlham to take pictures about 45 miles each way and tried to get every marked grave I had found several that was not listed and several had no records at the office.

Try the Wayne County Indiana Library 1st then the Historical society and see what they may have on Benjamin.

When we go that way we will stop in and check some sections and I will make sure to get that for you if I remember right.

I sure hope this helps some, have a great day

RE: T. D. Allen
I was researching Thomas O Allen and received a hint from Ancestry saying Thomas enlisted in the Civil War 86th Infantry on 8/14/1862. He enlisted in Elmira, NY In another hint Head Stone Provided for Union Veterans 1879-1903. Thomas O Allen died 12/15/1884. Big Flats Cemetery, Big Flats,NY. When I went to the Find a grave site the only Allen that came up in the Big Flats Cemetery was T D Allen. Do you think that the T D could be T O?

W. Harold Huber marker picture
Thanks so much for the picture of W. Harold Huber's marker. This confirms that the year I had for his birth is the same as the stone and that the entry on Find-a-Grave is a typo, so I can contact the person to change it. It is much appreciated!
