I am a stay-at-home mom at the moment, but am looking to rejoin the working world. I have a degree in funeral arts and science, which is a fancy way of saying I am an embalmer/funeral director. Just moved back to Atlanta from a year spent in Augusta.|

Hi..She is listed in a survey of the cemetery done a long time ago but a family member told me she was buried in Bellevue and her husband Walter Gaskill was moved from Morgan to Bellevue also??? I have got to go to Morgan cemetery sometime and she what is what. I went for a few minutes this summer while going through Augusta and the cemetery was in bad shape, overgrown etc although there had been some pretty recent burials. I was looking for a stone for a Richard (Dick) J Morgan who died in 1919. Someone posted a photo online of it years ago but when I was there I did not see it. He was a great uncle who was a police officer killed in the line of duty and his wife is buried there. I hope the stone still exists and has not been disturbed and that it is in the part that was so overgrown that I did not examine it closely. I would love to get a boy scout troop or some other civic group to clean out the cemetery and do a current day survey for the record. Thanks for your offer to look for Dorothy Gaskill. I appreciate any help as I do not get out to the cemeteries like I used to....... Candace Smith Savannah, Ga

Hi..I got the burial place from an obit and also from a letter written by his g grandson..It is as follows ... "Married Martha Ganus 1847
reared five children (3 boys, 2 girls)
Frank M., Syrilda, William III Sarah and Charles J. Clark
Died in Richmond county, Ga.1877, buried at Morris Cemetery in southern part of Richmond county, Ga.
Wife Martha Ganus Clark borned 1825 May died 1900 buried King Cemetery near Augusta Ga. (Barton's Chapel Road)""
Is the Morris cemetery that you searched in southern Richmond co??. Thank you for your time and effort..maybe he never had a stone... I really appreciate you taking the time to search! Thanks again... C J Smith
