Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been a member of Find A Grave for over a year and only have created 5 memorials. I enjoy spending my time leaving flowers for those who have no flowers and for those who do. I enjoy adding information to memorials because I enjoy reading memorials which have lots of information and seeing what life gave to them...some very happy...some very sad.
Tonight, as I visited several of my family memorials my heart was warmed by those who had left flowers and notes. To all of you I say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. People associated with this site have been very kind to me sharing their photos, giving me advice and encouragement. I love all of you for the kindness you have shown.

Now for a little about me...I'm Marlene Clapp Brown and my late husband, Robert Eugene 'Bobby' Brown and I have four children, two sons-in law, two daughters-in-law, six grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren and two great grandsons... I was fortunate to have many different jobs in my 78 years.

I recently discovered Find A Grave and have really enjoyed it. I have really enjoyed working on the ones that have been transferred to me and leaving them flowers. I feel it is very important for the contributors to leave the person in the Memorial a flower when it is created. I am a little more knowledgeable about the site now but it was from a lot of support from three very helpful people associated with the site. I thank all of you for your support and hope to be doing this for several more years.

Thanks again to all of you for the kindnesses shown to me and my ancestors on Find A Grave.

NOTE: My oldest son Lee (Memorial 152361351), passed away on September 15, 2015 after suffering from cancer for over 2 years. Wont you please visit his memorial and leave a token for him. Thank you.

I just wanted to say
thank you, cousin, for posting pictures of our common grandmother Anna Barbara (Miller) Baer's resting place. I descend from her daughter Anna Barbara, who married Jacob Kissling.

Lindleys, Hadleys, etc.
I wasn't sure. Really, too, if you want any of those memorials of folks you're related to, just give me their memorial numbers, and I'm happy to transfer them.

RE: Finished Memorials
Miss Marlene,
You have done beautiful life stories for Miss Callie, Mr Hadley and their baby son.
I am not sure where Bear Creek is located but if you need my help locating someone in the Alamance County area just let me know.

Sure Marlene, no problem. You may use my photos, they are mostly shared family members between us. Our Quaker ancestors always shared as was part of their religious beliefs and I try to follow that practice to honor them.

I didn't mean to imply that you wouldn't give me credit for my pictures! I know most people are careful to keep track of where they find something, I just feel like it's a good thing to mention!

Hi! Feel free to use whatever you would like. All I ask is that you mention in the notes where you found the pictures if you post them publicly! I put them out there to share, but I do have to admit, I feel a little miffed when I see my photos posted on Ancestry without any mention of where they came from :)
