Hi Craig - Happy Veteran's Day, and thank you for your service. My husband is also a Navy veteran, served during Viet Nam.
I found your memorial for your mother, and also for some other family members. It appears that we are related, cousins a bit removed. My mother and Clarence are first cousins. I've been working on a family genealogy for a while and am trying to include as many photos of people and their cemetery monuments as well. I was wondering if you would give your permission to include the pictures from your page for your mother in this genealogy. I would reference findagrave and credit you with the photo. Thanks for any consideration. Pat
Hi Craig, First I want to thank you for your service!!!!
Second, the memorial for Sarah Babcock, memorial # 17426715 is a duplicate of memorial #7309810. Can you please delete it?
Thank you, Dawn Parker

I'm hoping you can help solve a mystery. Attempting to provide photos of gravestones to Find A Grave I came across the following situation - The obituaries of a couple who both died in 2013 indicated that the burial was in the "Hoyt Cemetery". I spoke to the funeral home that the obituaries mention and they "confirmed" that the burial was in the "Hoyt Cemetery in Stony Point, NY". Find A Grave has no such cemetery and the only reference I can find of any cemetery in Rockland with Hoyt in the name is the Casselee-Hoyt Cemetery, #200 in the list at http://rocklandgenealogy.org/rccem.htm.
This morning I spoke to someone in the Stony Point town clerk's office and they suggested that "Hoyt Cemetery" may be part of Mount Rest Cemetery. As you posted a photo of the church at Mount Rest I'm wondering if you can confirm that references to Hoyt Cemetery in Stony Point are actually to Mount Rest?
|Cindy||John McCarthy Walls|
Hi Craig, my name is Cindy Walls. I have happened upon your photo of John Walls while looking for family of William M. Walls. I know William, my father-in-law (died in 1974) had a brother who was confined to a wheelchair and a sister I believe her name was Joan. Do you have any information about Johnís family?
Any assistance would be appreciated.

|NoraK||Edit For Vails Gate Cemetery,New Windsor,Orange County,New York|
Wanted to bring to your attention your entry for Peter "Colyer" at Vails Gate Cemetery,New Windsor,New York. A copy of the church records of all internments in the cemetery indicates this is actually Peter CALYER Sr. March 5,1799-June 7,1870.
Believe this was an error in engraving the stone.
If you would be so kind as to edit the name. Thank you.

The memorial you have on Edward V. Kinsley is a duplicate of the other one that has more info on it. Consider deleting your duplicate.
|Steve Burt||Edward V. Kinsley|
Please review the entry for Edward Kinsley in West Point cem. Your is a duplicate of mine which has more data and family connections.
Hi Craig, I am not going to request grave photos for my memorials at Mount Rest at Stony Point, because they are too distantly related. But I wanted to ask you to post your cemetery photo of the church on these memorials so the memorials don't look so blank. These are:
Alice Rose 107863721
Lurana Baisley 107698996
Luella Baisley 107704177
Muriel Baisley 107712583
David Baisley 107717732
Doris Baislsy 107724973
|Patrick Arthur Teater Sr.||Wappinger Rural Cemetery|
I have added many pictures to the Veterans buried in this cemetery and you have a few errors listed in the memorials, at least according to the grave markers? If you would like to check them and make corrections it would be cool.
