|My partner and I were really into graving and taking pictures of roadside memorials for a long time. We always carried a digital camera. She passed away in 08 at the age of 32 and our hobby has been sidelined. Graveyards are no longer fun places to find history, it's become a very emotional, almost too much to handle kind of deal. My camera was stolen recently and I moved to the Oregon Coast to find some kind of peace. While I totally support this website and think it's a cool tool, I just need to take a bit of a break.|

I'm wondering if Emory Parady would qualify for a "Famous" person designation, buried in Lincoln Memorial Park. He is listed as one of the military men who captured John Wilkes Booth. I'm not sure how someone would submit Pardy's name for the designation of "Famous" burials in this cemetery. Have you looked into submitting his name as a candidate for this designation?

I'll take a look as I go to that cemetery often. But the place is very large. So, it's a challenge to find specific markers. Ask your friend if they know a section name. Or better yet if they have more cross-reference details or other landmarks.
Just wanted to let you know that I went back to Parklawn today and cleaned Suzanne's marker & retook some photo's. I left the others up as well, I think that the newer ones are so much nicer. The marker really turned out beautiful once it was cleaned. The flowers are still fresh.

No one has ever said such nice things to me and it really touched my heart. Yours is the reason I contribute to F.A.G. to bring loved ones back together again and possibly find those we never knew existed. You were lucky enough to experience both.
Online we can visit them everyday if we wish, they can hear us even a million miles away for they are always with us. Try to focus on the good times and the bad will seem to fade.
I have found many times that in my hour of need, it was a stranger that had the compassion to help. Sometimes those closest to you are not always the ones you can turn to. Know that you can turn to me.

I was wondering if you had the original (digital) photos you posted to Findagrave? I am looking for high resolution images to use in a print article.

Your love and caring is so obvious, I thought this might help so you could add more pictures if you want.
