I know the obituary and the gravestone both indicate that my great grandmother was born in 1866, but the Family Bible, listing her parents and siblings list her birthdate as October 16, 1865. Thank you! I will try to post that page from the Bible.
I am trying to help a friend. Her name is Karen and she lives in Le Mars, Iowa. She was adopted in 1963 thru Catholic Charities. The name on the file was Baby Lawhorne. She has reason to believe her mother was born about 1939 in or near Storm Lake, Buena Vista Iowa. She was born in Buena Vista County Hospital, September 1962. She would have a half sister born earlier. Her parents divorced before she was born. Her father had been in the Marines. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you for honoring my edit request regarding this memorial.
|Bob ||RE: Harris / Reed pictures|
Well he is both of ours "great uncle". His wife June was the sister of my grandmother Ethel Reed. I remember Uncle Chuck because he was a rock hound. He had a little shed out back of their Ft Collins house that he polished rocks in. He would always give me and my brother rocks. Got me interested in geology! Hopefully you got the same treatment from him, but I guess our paths never crossed. His son, Bob Jones, was very close to my Dad Lloyd Reed. I read once if you go back 57 generations, every human being on earth has a common ancestor. Didn't have to go that far for ours! Thanks!

I came across entries apparently made by you on this site of several members of my family in the Ft. Collins, Colorado cemetery. My great-grandfather Jesse Harris, my grandfather Tony Reed and grandmother Ethel (Harris) Reed as well as aunts and uncles I have buried there. My great-grandfather's grandfather is himself buried in the Grandview cemetery. I took the liberty of adding some personal pictures of them when they were alive. I also appreciate some biographical information you added I did not have. Thank you for doing this! - Bob Reed (son of Lloyd Reed who was the son of Tony and Ethel Reed).

|gingybee||Lewis Wagoner memorial|
What a coincidence! I had been trying to pin down Lewis' mother, Marion Wagoner's second wife, for weeks, and I was sure that Myrtle May Wallace was her, but I wanted a marriage certificate or newspaper announcement before I was willing to commit to the link. Then, just on Pearl Harbor Day, you confirm it on your memorial for Lewis!
Lewis has another memorial based on his name on the cenotaph in Hawaii, and I tried to contact the person who has it to note that his remains were identified and re-interred, but he hasn't responded.
Do you know how to link or merge the memorials?
