Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogy for many many years and really like I used to do just my own family but now do cemeteries where ever we go. If someone sees anything that is wrong or if you have anything to offer please contact me as I would be glad to help.

Use the edit function for transfers. Include your contributor number so I get the right person.
Find-A-Grave guidelines for transfer requests are for direct relatives (spouse, siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents). If you are requesting a transfer, please be specific about your relationship. I generally will not transfer aunts, uncles or cousins. I am not willing to transfer my family members, but I will be happy to add information to their memorials.

I have no objection to transferring memorials of your close relatives. Please be sure to tell me the relationship. I will no longer transfer memorials to someone asking for all memorials of a surname to be transferred to them. There are lots of new members requesting transfers who are managing many more memorials than they have posted. Please keep in mind that this web site won't work if you aren't willing to go out and gather information that might help someone else!

I wonder if you are related to Richard or his wife Karen L (Penny). I am related to Richard and would like to find out more information on the family.

I don't think I'm related to Clinten, however I am related to "Humes" with an "s" so it may be possible.

Have another great day,
Ed Ross

Mary Boyle Connors
Hi Penny,
I see that you added info to Mary Boyle Connors obituary. I am looking for any family members of a Mary Boyle that graduated from Holy Names Academy in Spokane, WA in 1916. The Mary Boyle you contributed to was born in 1899, so may fit the profile of the one I am looking for. Do you have any family information on her?
Thank you in advance,
Trish Coleman

Joy Hardin #46917335
I just ran across a message you left for Joy Hardin on Dec. 23, 2015. She also has incorrect information and duplicates in Buckley Cemetery, Buckley WA and doesn't respond to messages. Very frustrating. I just wanted to comment. Thank you. Robin

RE: Lucy McGibbon Slawter

Recently I had another of the Dunn related women take an Ancestry DNA test. Both Jean Slawter-Webb-Dickey and I are trying to piece together the Dunn-Hicks side of the tree. That side has no bearing on Lucy McGibbon Slawter other than thru Jean.

Jean is the daughter of Ils Larry Slawter, b. 23 Sept 1917, Grand Prairie, Alberta, Canada, d. 20 Apr. 1999, Spokane, Spokane, WA. Ils (Ike) married Mary Marie Dunn on 21 Mar 1938 in Spokane, WA.

Ils parents were Ira Leon Slawter, b. 16 Sept 1870, Keokuk, IA, d. 13 Jul 1958, Spokane, WA. Ira married Lucy Georgetta McGibbon on 3 May 1895, in Anthony, Harper, KS.

Thank you for your patience for the length of time it took me to reply.

RE: Parson
How interesting! They are my 1st great grandparents on my mother's side. My grandfather was George Clinton Parson (Sr.), and my mother was Nina Mae Parson. What is your lineage from Jacob & Lovina? I'm very interested because I have done quite a bit of digging into those generations lately.

RE: Max Parson
Hi Penny,
I'm curious - what is your relationship to the Parson family?

Dear Penny,
I see you have made a memorial of my dad before he has even been buried. I guess I am thankful for you doing the work, although I would have been glad to have done it myself (but you didn't know that, of course). I would like to have the memorial transferred to me, as I am his daughter and also a member of Find-A-Grave.
Thank you, Kathy Hilliard #47133886

How many hours a day do you spend adding memorials?
