I have always been fascinated by genealogy and family history. |
I was born in Georgia, grew up in New Jersey, went to college in Virginia, and have now lived in Kansas, for more than 43 years.
My only son, Robbie, died in March 2000 at the age of 16, and I have listed him on Find A Grave. You can visit him at Robert Hampton Smith.
Please visit the memorial page for fallen graver Judy Reed, who passed away on February 15, 2017; and also the memorial page for fallen graver Kris Kennedy Thornton, who passed away on February 21, 2017.
January 5, 2017---I was STUNNED tonight to find a link on the graves for my inlaws for a baby girl that neither my husband or I had ever heard of. You can visit my little sister-in-law at BABY GIRL SMITH .
I also have a memorial site for Robbie at RobbieSmith.com.
There is a new page for Robbie's 17th Anniversary in Heaven at 17 Years in Heaven - I Remember You Still.
MY DEAR FRIENDS FROM F-A-G:
My time online has become more limited, and I will no longer be able to make daily visits to all of your sweet angels. However, I do plan to make monthly virtual cemeteries so that I can continue to flower your angels on their birthdays and angel days.
THANK YOU to all of you for your many kind visits and messages. I so very much appreciate our wonderful family here at Find-a-Grave!

I wish you all the best for your chemo. I hope and wish you heartfelt good fortune and success for you. I want to give you courage. In 2003 I defeated my breast cancer with chemo, surgery and radiation and today I am fine. My prayers and hugs for you. Sincerely, Monika

Hi Saralyn, I know you haven't been feeling well the past few days and am praying that goes away soon. Love & Hugs, Rosie
|Sheila White Hughes||Hi Saralyn|
I use everything at my disposal to try to keep track of folks, so I noticed your post on RosieMooch's page. I'm glad to hear that you tolerated your first chemo without much problem, but with an especially good attitude. Please don't feel pressured to respond, Saralyn. I just wanted you to know, again, that you are in my thoughts and prayers daily. Just keep taking care of you. Love, Sheila
We are praying for you Saralyn. Marvin, my husband had the PET scan in 2015, I have told him what you reported from your other post. That is Awesome News that the cancer hasn't spread. He knows how stressful this process is but take care of yourself and rest.
We, along with other's are Praying for you, keeping you in our thoughts.
You are in Our Prayers as well as other's are praying for you,too.
Carolyn & Marvin

Saralyn, that is wonderful news! I know how stressful this process is, and I appreciate the update on your PET scan. Please take care.
|Sheila White Hughes||Dear Saralyn|
You are in my thoughts and prayers daily. You showed so much kindness in creating a special token for my son's dog, Maeve, and went the extra mile to explain to this greenhorn how you made it. I've never forgotten that. I hope each day for the good news that you have been victorious in your fight. Even though this may seem like a lonely process as you go through each day, remember that there are so many of us who are thinking of and praying for you each and every day. Blessings, Saralyn. --Sheila
