Bio and Links
The descendants of the old settlers, those who cleared the land and first upturned the wild sod to the sun, should see that the doings of those early years are fittingly remembered and recorded.
It was once remarked by a great writer that those who take no interest in the deeds of their ancestors are not likely to do anything worthy to be remembered by their descendants.

Please leave flowers or memorials on my memorials, I believe everyone deserves flowers, and I have a great family. Thank you in advance.
A BIG thank you to those who send histories, death notices, obits and links to add to the memorials. They are wonderful additions.
You may use my pictures and information for your family trees but I do like credit. This is all put on findagrave for your family trees because so many people have helped me with mine. Thank you.

Please read Find A Grave's Transfer Requirements before requesting a transfer "THE FIND A GRAVE GUIDELINES FOR TRANSFERRING MEMORIALS ARE: Spouses, Parents, Brothers and Sisters, Children, Grand-children, Grandparents, and Great-grandparents. Please use the "EDIT" tab to ask for a transfer BUT PLEASE do no ask for a transfer that is not within these guidelines and PLEASE STATE YOUR RELATIONSHIP TO THE DECEASED.
Putting requests on this site you will be ignored, and erased. Ignorance is not bliss it is just embarrassing for you.

For extended family members you can add
Virtual Cemeteries as we have done.

PLEASE USE the "EDIT" TAB ON THE UPPER RIGHT SIDE OF THE MEMORIAL TO SEND CORRECTIONS AND REQUESTS FOR TRANSFERS. Will gladly add any obits and will add links to family members. "

Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out On polished, marble stone.
It reaches out to all who care It is too late to mourn.

You did not know that I exist You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our heart contracts and beat a pulse Entirely not our own.

Dear Ancestor, the place you filled One hundred years ago Spreads out among the ones you left Who would have loved you so.I wonder if you lived and loved,I wonder if you knew That someday I would find this spot, And come to visit you.

Thank you very much for linking Elmer to his family. Though I'm only indirectly related, it's nice to see a family group complete.

Best regards, Joe

FAG for Johanna Towsley
In doing my research today I found two sites for what I believe is the same person although each Find A Grave has her buried in a different town.

the two Find A Grave# are 145766551 and 20979903

Please combine after determining which burial site is correct

Thanks Barbara Williams

RE: Doris Lillian Potts Gillette
I couldn't find anything for Allen Stanley Woodruff on Find a Grave. Found his California death certificate on I thought it would be nice to add Allen Stanley Woodruff to Doris' bio page for the time being. I wonder where she could have buried him? Maybe he doesn't have a grave stone either?

Have a great day, Kathy :)

Jacksons connection
I have family members that you have created memorials for.
171700175 is Hattie Jackson. She is married to Mark Whitson Jackson 171699940. Mark is my Great Uncle and Hattie is his wife. Could you please connect these as husband and wife in the Hillside Memorial Park, Redlands, San Bernardino, California?

Thank you,
Beth Neff

Memorial #23572459 Calvin A Wright
I submitted an edit for Caloin Wright to correct his name to Calvin A Wright. This is a link to his death record in Michigan (even though he died in Kankakee, Indiana).
