Bio Photo Hello, and welcome -
My name is Beckie. I am an avid and passionate Genealogist.

Frequently - I read through very old newspapers and I'll come across an article about the death of someone and I'll do a little research and add a find-a-grave page for that individual. I hope you are a family member of these people, and that you find them because I believe that no one should ever be forgotten.

I have been doing genealogy research for over 35 years. It all started when I first interviewed my grandmother and got hooked from there. One of the reasons I joined Find-A- Grave, is because of my hope of finding the gravesites that I can only hope to visit.

I am busy with a project to document the history of the Major's Choice property in Bel Air, Maryland. Along with a great friend who lives next to the Philip Henderson home, we are trying to document the slaves that lived and worked on that property. In our research, we have expanded to the lives of so many prominent Bel Air residents of the time period from 1750 to the 1950s. 200 years!

In addition, I am working feverishly to complete my own project for my kids. See the above webpage for my project.

One in particular is that of Jerry Bridges who was a Vietnam War MIA for a very long time 1968-1994. And finally laid to rest in 2002 in Giles Memory Garden, Pulaski, Tennessee. If you live in that area, please, get a picture of his grave. FOUND AT MEMORIAL # 15123871 . Would mean the world to me. His name engraved first on my Vietnam MIA bracelet I received in 1971 and has been engraved in my heart ever since then.

Through my website I have come in contact with so many Choate family members who are eager to find more for their families. I am so happy to help, so keep it coming.

I have had the opportunity to finally go to Bourland Cemetery in Keller Texas to document for myself the information I've collected over the years for the Choate Family. Thank you to for the contributions of the Choate names to the Findagrave database. Much appreciated.
I am very excited to be a volunteer member of Find-A-Grave and look forward to any requests made by others to help them in their search!
May you all find peace in your hearts and may God shine his light upon you.---------------------

RE: Elizabeth Sandison Niven 1828-1929
No problem. If I come across it, I'll post a photo

Elizabeth Sandison Niven 1828-1929
I spent a couple of hours in Tomnahurich cemetery, Inverness yesterday looking for the various graves with photo requests. Unfortuantely it's a very large cemetery and I wasn't able to cover all of it. I didn't come across Elizabeth Niven's grave, but if you could provide me with plot details, I'd be happy to go back for another look.

Kind regards,

Memorial# 77144460 Anna Choate
You have Anna Choate & her husband Amos Levi Crabtree buried in different cemeteries but they have a double stone. Can you explain? Thanks.

Brotherhood Cemetery, Monroeville PA
Hi, I noticed that you created Brotherhood Cemetery in Allegheny County PA and added Profile #170388682. Brotherhood Memorial Park was created in 1956 as the first African American cemetery in Allegheny County. It was disbanded at some point, however, and these plots are now part of/owned by Restland Lincoln Memorial Park, Monroeville. Other burials from Brotherhood are with entries for Restland. Thanks, Lynn

RE: Weed Family
Thank you for your interest in Judith's memorial. I went back to Ancestry and saw that my date was wrong, so I edited it. The death date should be 1836. She was 71 years old. I don't know what the Inscription 71-1-14 is for though. The stone is very hard to read. Hope this helps.
