I was born in Murray Ky and lived in this area all of my life except for about 7 years I lived in southern Ill.|
Now im back in Calloway Co. and will probably die here, I hope not to soon though maybe in 40 years or so but if it's sooner then I will not complain because I have had a good life!
Also if there is any wrong info that I have posted or if anyone want's to add to what I have already then just use the suggest a correction feature and I will edit the changes.
Also if you want a memorial I maintain then just use the edit tab and ask for it im not related to 98% of the ones that I made a memorial for but if I am then I will let you know and then see who is more close related.
Ok I was going to add more to my Bio but will later

Marcus Dee Emerson

Eula Lee (Cooper)
b. 15 Feb 1871 d. 13 June 1928
Both of their KY Death Records indicate they were buried in Cuba Cemetery, however, as you know, there are several cemeteries will the word 'Cuba' in their name. Their son Joseph 'Joe' O. Emerson b. 22 Nov 1903 d. 8 Apr 1988 is buried at Cuba Baptist Church Cemetery according to FINDAGRAVE.
Thank you for looking into this for me.

Craig: It's me, Shirley. I'm updating the burial listing for Cuba Baptist Church Cemetery and noticed you posted some photos of tombstones from this cemetery on FINDAGRAVE. Can you tell me if you came across these people:
Marcus Dee Emerson and his wife Eula Lee Cooper. Their son Joseph 'Joe' O. Emerson and his wife Artie are buried in Cuba Baptist Church Cemetery. If you have photos of their headstones, please let me know and I will create a memorial for Joe's parents.
Thanks, Shirley :)

|John W. Grubbs||Nuckolls Cemetery|
Hi! Hope you are doing well. Just wanted you to know that there is a findagrave site for Nuckolls Cemetery where Dr. Richard Nuckolls (1802-1860) is biuried, memorial number #19021866, created by Kathy Thompson. I was there last month and talked to the owners of the property but did not try to walk back into the woods. I was more focused on the fact this is where the public springs of Old Wadesboro were located. I have a copy of the 1822 Plat. AS you may remember, Wadesboro was named for my 3G grandfather Banister Wade and I have considerable interest in Wadesboro's histpriy. The current owner ot the property told me that the Wadesboro jail stood where their home is.
I added to photographs of the sign near the road. I think it would be useful if you could add yours. Did you also get a picture of his gravestone?
Best, John (W. Grubbs)

Can you tell me where this is? I ask because you took a photo, and there is not a map.

thank you so very much. I appreciate your note about checking from time to time to see if there is a permanent headstone. You are one of the people who make findagrave such a very unique and special site.
