My interest in Find A Grave began while researching my family history. After creating memorials for my ancestors and extended family, I added information from obituaries in old extant newspapers.|
For the past few years my focus has been on taking headstone photos. I am currently playing catch-up, editing and adding pictures I took in 2015 and 2016.
Like you, I am a volunteer. I participate in this labor of love because I believe it's an important part of our history.
I will gladly update any memorial in my care with a sourced request. Simply share a few details about how you know something to be true when you submit an edit (using the edit tabs please).
Inside voices and good manners are very much appreciated.

|PBosler||RE: Minnie Blaul, Friedrich and Karoline Wolff|
Laura, I am not related to Minnie Wolf Blaul or her parents Friedrich Blaul and Karoline Witt Blaul. They are part of my daughter-in'laws family tree. I sent the source information you requested and resent the requests for updates to each memorial. Thanks for your reply.

|Janet Brewer||RE: Leslie C Brewer|
Hi Leslie C. Brewer was my father's brother. Ada Lu Buchanan Brewer and Charles George Brewer are my paternal grandparents.
|Martha Daugherty Latko||RE: Alta B Graves|
The information I have for Alta Kennedy Graves came from The Times newspaper for Nov. 17 on page B-3.

I actually am related to him. His middle name is William by the way. He was the father of my Grandfather Harvey Edward Kissner, at least from what I have gathered from all over the place. He married Charlotte R. Proudfoot... now this is if we are talking about Sr. He also had the a son of the same name who had Jr added to the end of his. I know I put things for both of them on here and am not sure exactly which Frank you are talking about.

Thank you so much!
|Joyce Julkowski Holt||RE: Emil Blesi|
Thank you for getting back to me so quickly! The Blesi's are my husband's family. Anna Minnie Blesi Holt (then Larson) is his grandmother. I have the Minnesota Death Certificate for Anna Zimmerman Blesi which states that Emil was her husband. I can scan and email you a copy if you would like. The Death Certificate number is 1959-MN-005671. Also, there is a record of their marriage on 20 December 1892 - Emil's last name is spelled incorrectly but I feel that along with the death certificate it is an appropriate match. I would be honored to maintain Emil's memorial although I am not a direct descendant. Thanks for your help with this and thanks for all you do to forward the progress of Find A Grave!

Thank you so much.

I am very careful when I add information on memorials. I use the death list from Ancestry. I try to give all that they have listed. Of course, some things are completely correct due to the person or persons who entered them.
At least I can add what they have. I am not a magician to know everything about that person and their families. I do this hoping that relatives will pick up the memorials and complete them from their family histories.
