My interest in genealogy started when I was young and found a folder my dad had created with notes on many generations of his family. What started with those pages of notes and a tin type of his grandfather has turned into a journey that has now been ongoing for over 30 years. I believe I have visited every graveyard/cemetery within a 40 mile radius of where I live and have helped hundreds get photographs of tombstones they might not otherwise have. When ever I am able to take a trip away from home I make time to visit an old cemetery. When in England several years ago I even got the owner of the bed and breakfast where I was staying to drive along and help me look for tombstones. It was a great experience and hope to do it again one day.|
And remember this: When chemists die, they barium.

Thank you for your help! Without wonderful volunteers like yourself I wouldn't be able to have many pictures of cemeteries as well as information relating to my ancestors!

Thank you very much for making the effort to take the photo of Robert Daum's grave marker and attaching it to the Find-a-Grave web page for him. I have not seen Robert since we graduated from high school together in Kansas. It was only at our class reunion this year that I heard of his death. I'll find a way to pay forward your kindness.
Sincerely, W. Wood
