I'm 36 years old and I was born and raised in Davenport Iowa then moved to Bettendorf Iowa before I started high school. I now live in Spring Valley, IL (Bureau County). I work in Peru, IL. I have been working on my family tree for the past 5 years. Headstone hunting is exciting to me, you get to see so many different headstones and cemeteries.|

Did you ever find the information you were looking for re:Isabella McCade?

Hello, I had requested a better photo of the Gilham memorial #30595317 hoping to get a more complete name and dates, and they said the photo is posted to her memorial in error. Can you please move those photos to the correct location to avoid confusion? Here is the reply I got from my photo request:
The general problem they reported is:
They also reported, specifically:
There isn't an Alice Gillham in this cemetery. The Alice headmarker that you photographed belongs to Alice (Elliott) Bryan.
Thanks for your assistance.

No problem. There may be more at some point but Carl's memorial is pretty complete now. When I talk to his folks I'll see if there is more they would like to add. I know the memorial run has had some changes this year and we may want to update the changes.
Thank you so much for the changes.

Hello, I am wondering if you would be kind enough to attach the photo you have for Elizabeth Gilham to also James Gilham and Phebe Gilham memorials who are mentioned on her headstone. Thanks so much.

Is there a particular reason you chose to duplicate multiple memorials in Long Grove Cemetery, rather than ask for the original memorials to be transferred to you?
That is generally considered taboo in the Findagrave community. Many of us donate countless hours researching families who aren't even ours, just so others can find them. When memorials are duplicated without request of transfer it feels like our time and energy was stolen. It is rather rude.
I have no qualms transferring memorials I have created during my research, if one is to ask considerately. That is, afterall, the reason I spend so much time researching. But, I find it hard to believe that you went to that online cemetery and did not see the many memorials I already put up. You duplicated so many, you have to have not cared.

Okay. That makes since now. Her 2nd husband Ed would've been my Great-Grandpa's brother. Thank your for replying back so quickly.

Would you please, please transfer:
Bernice Bleyart Memorial# 55191250
Her husband Ed Bleyart would've been my 2X Great Uncle.
Please & Thank You,

Hi Damien -
No problem, thanks for inputting the memorial. Paul III was my nephew.
In addition to the 2 Fouts stones you requested, there was an Averill Fouts buried in the same plot as them. I've added a memorial and photo for that person.

No, I am not related to the Whislers. I was just out taking photos of the cemetery.
