Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been involved in genealogy from an early age; my interest having been cultivated by my grandmother and uncle. I was raised in a family where you were expected to know your family history and taught its value and the importance of passing it on. To date, I've been at it for over 30-years and have met some wonderful cousins and friends along the way. This hobby is a labor of love and through discovery and contacts has brought my extended family closer together. I've been away from this hobby for a a few years now and look forward to returning to the books.

Dacre/D'Acre
Hi, you'll see that I have sent you a few edits regarding the spelling with/without the apostrophe in Dacre. The gravestones and death notices all spell them without the apostrophe. But I see you have a virtual cemetery for Piccione so you might be the expert and can tell me that I'm all wet. I had entered some of these with the other spelling not realizing it until someone sent me an edit. I will delete my duplicates. Please let me know if I am wrong . Thanks so much. Jane

Preiss family
Thanks for all your work on Find A Grave to find and preserve family history.
Noticed that you had posted some old photos on the Preiss family. Are you related?
My paternal Grandmother is Maria F. Priess, the daughter of Maria Haushalter and John Frederich Preiss, the grandaughter of Heinrich Preiss and Maria Ursula Fink.
I have been doing family research since I retired two years ago and find it VERY interesting! I have been able to add a few listings to Find A Grave and document on FamilySearch. I live in Houston now, so it's kinda sad I just can't hop over to the StL cemeteries to see for myself.
You are a blessing!

Photo posted is for his brother. Not sure if you requested it or not. Lanny memorial has the correct photo and the headstone shows "Lanny Richard" and the memorial has "Lanny Ray". I sent an edit for Lanny to show the plot in Garden of
Valor.
