It's going to be in the spring. There is 2 feet of snow in the cemetery.

RE: Utah
I was going to check the archives in Santa Fe, which are principally New Mexico. Albuquerque has a special collections library that caters to genealogy research nationwide. They may have Utah newspaper resources. I get to Albuquerque less than Santa Fe. Maybe next month.

RE: Obituaries
I'm assuming you have no access to New Mexico newspaper archives. If you provide me with name, DOD, community and anything else to clarify, I'll see what I can find. You can post here or email me, It may take me a couple of weeks before I get to the Santa Fe archives.

RE: Obituaries
Often, recent obituaries can be found on-line, but keep in mind they are copyrighted and not Public Domain. However, the data, when published is usable if not verbatim.

Older obituaries, I find in the state archives. In New Mexico, the state archives are in Santa Fe and they have a good inventory of state newspapers on microfilm and printable at $0.10 a copy, at least last time I was there. I am overdue for another visit.

There are also some websites that have old newspapers on-line, but they tend to have a subscription fee, including

Good Luck,

Dixie Wood Evans
You asked for the parents of Farris and Dixie. I transferred all you wanted, but I did not create the memorials for Dixie's parents so you have to ask who ever created them.

Emily Salazar
Emily was a Salazar and I had assumed she was on Eutimio's line. However, I erred. It was her husband Dickie Garcia that descends from Eutimio Salazar's line. I forgot to bring the data with me, but I believe it's Eutimio's daughter Margarita that Dickie descends from. But I'll have to get back to you on that to be sure.

RE: Abeytas
I checked my files and show nothing for Serafin or Gaspar Abeyta. Then again, my records are not complete and principally based on the Santa Cruz/Espaņola area.

I Know Emily Salazar formerly married to Richard "Dickie" Garcia. And Patsy Salazar, now living in the Dallas area (I forget her husband's name, Gerard?). I'm mostly acquainted with Emily's children: Richard, Debbie, and Steven.
