This was a wondrous site where the upcoming generations can easily find their history and ancestors. Even after we are gone, our work will remain. Thank you, Findagrave.

My tree was done generations ago, thanks to my ancestors. Now my time is spent on documenting cemeteries, research, linking memorials, reuniting families, and connecting the dots.
My virtual flowers now represent edits.

We are all simply the guardians of those we have kindly added until their family comes along. I am eager to transfer anyone who is not family to family. BUT, request through the system, not here, not email! Demands will be ignored, "please" is simply common courtesy.

I take my heritage, 'graving' and documentation very seriously and most respectfully. Accuracy is of the most utmost importance to me, not who 'owns' a memorial. If I have made an error, please, please, let me know, politely. If you are rude, I will ignore you.

** I spend over half my time on Findagrave JUST sending edits to admin for duplicates. PLEASE double check before you add a historical person from the 1600's or back. Most likely, they have already been added.

** PLEASE read the FAQ concerning BURIALS UNKNOWN. They are to be used for RECENT deaths only, not your 176th great grandfather whose burial is 'not located yet.' I adhered to the rules, please do the same. I will not link to an unknown burial.

** If your pictures are crooked, of poor quality, out of focus, too dark to read, taken at night, shadowed, or the stone is covered in dirt or weeds, or your finger was in front of the lens, I will add my photo on the memorial. I apologize, I do not intend to offend. It is not out of disrespect for the other photographer, it is out of respect for the deceased and the family who might appreciate a good photo of the stone. Please have the gumption and consideration to post only decent, well thought out photos.

**USE THE MEMORIAL EDIT/SUGGESTION OPTION ON THE MEMORIAL you want updated for updates requests, transfer requests, or general inquiries for ANY memorial, it gives me easy access to the memorial in question, I have entered thousands. I will Ignore and delete suggestions, requests and updates and inquiries left here or in email.

Anne, do you have a transcription of the three panels marking the grave of JAmes Wolfe Murray ? I cannot zoom in to have a closer look. On the r.hand panel I can see the name Alicia Stewart Murray. Her memorial is #151950136. Photo could be added to her memorial. My interest is STRANG or STRANGE, my Orcadian ancestry, but last year I "met" a Murray descendant, who is French, but lives in USA !! He has just located James Murray's wife's grave in Rouen. She was Isabella Katherine Strange. He is arranging to have the gravestone cleaned. Two Murray children are also buried there. Once he gets good photos of the cleaned stone, he will put them on Findagrave.

RE: Lady Elizabeth Tilney Howard
Thank you for adding place and date of birth for Lady Howard. I've been to Ashwellthorpe - beautiful village.

I actually just suggested adding date and place of birth. And you are correct about her title. I just added photo to her page.

Alvin Branson at Stockton Rural
Hi Anne,
I added the info you sent for Alvin. Sorry, I must have somehow missed the earlier message. Timing would have been at the end of an extensive workload, but I tried to play catch up toward the beginning of this year, Maybe it just fell through the cracks.
Anyhow... thanks for sending extra to add to his memorial. (And I appreciate how you gleaned the info from the census record, rather than just listing the fields... I may borrow that idea!)

Hope you are enjoying the summer and thanks for all the graving work you do!

No... I live in Winton, CA and am trying to get all the Holdeman Mennonite graves in the Winton Cemetery with their obit and family connections.

Thank you so much for all the work you have done on this family. Would you mind turning it over to me? This is my brother in-laws family that just passed away. I have a lot more information on them, along with articles and picture of Susan Laurance Leonard written in books about Yosemite and the village they lived in.
Thank you

RE: Marion Britton Hunt
I question the grandson of Marion Britton Hunt as listed on his find a grave. He is the son Robert Lee and Minerva Hunt, but I don't believe the grandson of John Wesley and Mary Hunt. I believe he is the grandson of Britton B Hunt and Nancy Ann Taylor. So my question was does anyone have information or anything to document this. Thank you for your time and dedication to Find A Grave
