I have been a member of find a grave for a very short while. I find that the contributors I have contacted have gone out of their way to be helpful in locating my ancestors. I will try to be as helpful to those who may contact me in the future. I am interested in the following family lines: Baker, McKee, Steele, Sullivan, Milam, Hall, and my wife's, Haltom, Hardin, Walling, Baxley and Parker. My wife and I are native Texans, but have followed our ancestors from North and South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, Kentucky and Tennessee principally.|

Hello, I tried sending you an email via the email address you give on your profile page but it bounced back as undelivered not correct email address. Do you have an updated email address I can send you something regarding Louise. It is a poem my mother wrote about her as they were best friends in Kemp, Texas when they were kids.
I really would like to share the poem but cannot attach it to this message.

|Tom Streetman||RE: Wallings|
I believe I might have posted the photo for Isaac and Roxie's memorials because there was a request. I really don't remember.
Hill Streetman is my first cousin, twice removed. His father, Artis Eugene Streetman, Sr., is my great-grandfather's oldest brother. He had one other brother and one other sister (that lived) plus several more half siblings.
My 3rd great-grandfather is A. Elisha Walling. He moved to Houston County with his family in the 1830s. His brother, James R. Walling, is the father to Jim Walling, who is the father of Roxie.
I read your bio and noticed that your wife is related to the Haltoms and Wallings. My cousin Hill Streetman married Edith Haltom.
Also, I am also descended from the Walling family. My great-great-great grandfather A. Elisha Walling has many family members in the Parker and Guiceland cemeteries.

David, I agree on the spelling of her name. The change has been made. Thank you for calling it to my attention.

I have no further information on the Clarence, George and the two Myrtle Brown's that I have added to Mountain View Cemetery. I just add what I find in the newspapers.

No, that was not the correct Myrtle. I volunteer at the Clackamas Co. Family History Society and rushing to bathe, dress and head out the door to be on time. Will send more later. I have a copy of our Mt. View Cemetery Book here at home which was walked and done in 1999. I found the people you talked about and entered them in a hurry and will try and find obits or additional info as soon as I can--hopefully today or do also work there Sat. Funny the dates are almost identical!
|Shelia Hart||RE: Baker's in Old Richland|
It was a pleasure to have met you and your wife. I have transfered the three Baker's in Old Richland Cemetery to you. I have added a different cemetery photo to all three and was going to delete the cemetery photo that was already there before I transfered them but forgot. You can delete or "hide" that photo if you like the one I added better. It was also added to Old Richland Cemetery,s front cemetery page so is legal to do so. I would be honored to assisted you in any way if I can, just let me know!
Your wife has Parker's in her linage, so do I. Go to cemetery look-up and type in Parker Cemetery. It is in Webster Co., Ky. Perhaps there is info there she can use. Let me know if I can help with the Parker linage.
