|Nanny ||Elizabeth Coffin Greenleaf FAG #8953416|
I was excited and intrigued to find this painted portrait of Elizabeth Coffin Greenleaf, one of my direct ancestors. 17th century portraits are rare. I tried to figure out via a photo/image search where this image comes from, but failed. Could you share your source with me?
Many Thanks & Forever Searching

|Phantom 309||John Henry Hargett III photograph|
The photograph that you have posted on this memorial is highly unlikely to be one of that particular person.
The individual in the photograph appears to be about 28 years old. When Mister Hargett was this age, photography had not even been invented yet. The first photograph ever taken was shuttered in 1826, and it was a very crude one at that. Mister Hargett would've already been 42 years old by this time.
Are you certain that you haven't upload this photo to the wrong memorial by mistake?

where is Cecil in your family? Why do you want to manage his listing?

|Denny Goddard||Rebecca Wyckoff|
Oops...that should obviously be husband Samuel's stone and not son's.
|Denny Goddard||Rebecca Wyckoff|
I was unable to find a stone for John Wyckoff at Oak Grove in Sangamon Co, IL. The photo I posted for Rebecca is all that remains of a stone and is immediately next to son Samuel's stone. There is quite an open area immediately adjacent where John may be buried. Do you connect to this family? John is my 3rd cousin, 4 times removed.
|Ruth Ward||William M. Peppers|
You posted a picture of William and his wife, Eveline and I would like to thank you for it.
I would like ask if you posted the fact that William was a confederate soldier? William is the 2-great grandfather of my husband.
|Lisa Lindberg||Carl Thompson & Nettie Nelson -- Strum, Wisconsin|
About Carl Thompson - # 7637864 and
Nettie Nelson Thompson # 7637843 ,
buried at West Beef River Cemetery, Strum, Wisc:
Thank you for accepting the edits I recently made to Nettie & family's memorials.
In Carl & Nettie's bios which you uploaded, it says they had a daughter, Mabel Sylvia Thompson, b. 1912.
Do you know if she has a F.A.G. memorial? -- I did a search, but no luck.
If I remember right, on visits to Strum, I met her at gatherings -- as she was a cousin and friend of my Grandma Mildred Romundstad Madson & Grand Aunt, Nora Romundstad Wiedenbauer.
Also, do you know if Carl Thompson's parents have F.A.G. memorials?
John Goffe (1675-1748) is my 6th great grandfather, Are you related to him?

Sgt Paul Gilbert DeVoe, Sr
Find A Grave Memorial# 80938334
By name is Gail Devoe Wessman and the person I am inquiring about is my Uncle, my dad's brother. I have been searching for my dad's side of the family and came across your article and my uncle's funeral notice and noticed that everything was the same except the children. The obituary article said that Paul had 2 daughters named Audrey and Barbara, and one son Tyler and the funeral was held at Brooks-Smith. How do I find out if this one person or two different people. Any help will be appreciated.
