Thomas Reynolds 1770/1820
Do you happen to know if this is the Thomas Reynolds that had a son named Dickison Reynolds? His father was also Thomas and born in 1741 and died in 1820. I was wondering if you knew is wife's name and his mother's name.

Mary Elizabeth Miller Turner
Nathan, the picture of the tombstone marker that you added is not the same Mary Elizabeth Turner. The birth dates and death dates do not match the ones on the tall headstone pictured above, which is legible.

You have a Mary Hall buried in the Justell Cemetery, is she the wife of George? George is my husbands great grandfather that is buried there and he never knew where Mary Roop Hall was buried that he can remember.

Archer Brown Layne
Nathan, You submitted information on an Archer Brown Layne buried at "Layne" in Betsy Layne, Floyd Co., KY. I am an organizer of the Betsy Layne Cemetery in present day Justell (just north inside Betsy Layne). I pulled Archer's death certificate matching his death to 3 other same exact deaths. Poisoned in a mining accident.

Do you know where the "Layne" cemetery is you have Archer B. Layne listed buried in?

This is a duplicate memorial and the other one has family links. You might want to transfer your pic to the other mmmorial.

RE: taylor cemetery??
It's at the Salem Methodist Church. I believe off of or by John's Creek.

RE: taylor cemetery??
I'm sorry but I've never been there but will attempt to get better directions for you. Another family member gave me the picture.

George Washington Gordon
You have the wrong tombstone for this George. The tombstone belongs to George Gordon son of Abraham Gordon & Salome Mechling. His wife is Elmira Burgess. George & Elmira are at Highlands Cem.

Just a mistake,

RE: Georgia Brown
Thanks, Nathan. I've been trying to find him, but only could find a Gary L. Clarke in Gallipolis, who is an optometrist. I doubt that's him. I called the office this morning and left a message with the receptionist, but haven't heard back.

I want to ask his permission for us to use the photograph with the article I wrote (it's about the roots of the song "Sweet Georgia Brown").

I appreciate your patience and the replies you've given me!
