Bio and Links
Bio Photo My particular areas of interest are Berks, Montgomery, Schuylkill, Chester, Montour and Lehigh Counties in Pennsylvania. My strongest passion is to locate and honor all war veterans who sacrificed years of their youth, healthy lives and sometimes their adulthood. They must never be forgotten.
All of my entries to findagrave have been added with honor, one by one!

Hello Neil,

Thank you for contacting Find A Grave in regard to making changes and corrections.
We have increased our requirements regarding documentation in order to improve the accuracy of information available on Find A Grave.
They will need to send documentation for the update (i.e. link to website, official paperwork, source, documents, etc.) as to where this information was located. You, as a manager, can determine if the information is substantial.
If you need additional assistance, please feel free to reply to this message.
Sincerely,

Marie

Many contributors are speculating on burial locations of old pioneer family members with no proof of burial. This may be encouraged by contributors who will not link to memorials listed as unknown cemetery. This practice is very deceiving for serious researchers who will be misguided in their research for accurate results. It also is misleading for those requesting gravesite photos. Without proper burial records, I may chose to decline family links.

Please consider that the information given in memorials is not only provided by the memorial manager but also by others through edit requests which cannot always be verified. These edit requests could also be added without the review of the memorial manager if not acknowledged in a given time period.

Please do not assume a middle name by suggesting a surname. I will not add without some official record such as obituary, death, burial, birth record, tombstone or individual's signature. Middle initials on tombstones with first letter of mother's surname are seldom the actual baptized middle name which many incorrectly add as fact. Such initials are also often redundant with maiden names. I prefer to display names as they are most commonly perceived by skilled researchers and/or as they appear on the tombstone.

My thanks and devotion to you who are courteous, polite and appreciative. Those who are rude, demanding and condescending, are not in the best interests of findagrave principles.

My Patriots of the Revolution include:
George Herbst 1712, George Dry 1725, Johannes Koch 1725, Jacob VanReed 1726, Michael Bauer 1729, Daniel Guldin 1735, Johann Christian Scheidt 1736, Michael DeLong 1739, Phillip mathias 1740, Bernhard Eitel 1745, Michael Krebs 1744, Henrich Knauss 1746, John De Turck 1747, Marmaduke Von Buskirk 1750, John Grant 1754, Sebastian Koch 1757, John Breidegam 1757, William Krumrath(Cronrath). My Loyalist who fought for the British is Christian Flicker.

Neil,

I have sent in edits for Oranīs middle name , his birthplace, state of death, a link to his parents, and a link to his wife.

You can find proof of these in the book RELIQUES OF THE RIVES which is online (will try to send the iink) on pages 247 and 248.

RE: Catharina Frey #27518831
I thought you were the person who asked me to fix Catharina Frey's name, which I did. I posted her memorial in 2008. I thought you posted a memorial for her (#97990651) in 2012. I am trying to catch up on my messages and seem to be getting things mixed up. My apologies.

Lawrence Hipple 44017850
Neil...you left a message on this memorial regarding a Revolutionary War pension file for Lawrence Hipple. That pension file is for another Lawrence Hipple (1754-1821) the son of Heinrich Hipple, and grand-nephew of the Lawrence Hipple in this memorial. Could you please remove your message. Thank you.

Jacob Rennard Deery - # 147821044
Hi Neil,
You added a note on Jacob Rennard's memorial saying that he is a WWI Veteran. He is on a couple Veteran lists made by the Lutheran church secretary. I can't find any proof on ancestry, just that he filled out a draft registration card. Do you have any source info that can be added to his memorial?
Thanks,
Sharon

RE: Pricetown
Hi Neil,

Not doing to bad. Can't say the same for my laptop!

My keyboard is having prolems. Either it accepts keystroke or it does one of two things....1 nothing shows up on the screen, or 2 the key entry looks like it was loaded into a machinegun.

I got a request about the Freys in St. John's earlier this week (see my message from Bonnie Dampman). I found a few mistakes that I think hae now been corrrrrrrectd (nice example). Can you take a look and se if they are OK?

Looks llllllllle itis time for a new computer.

Mark

Catharina Frey #27518831
I looked closely at her gravestone again and see that it should be spelled as you suggested, Catharina. It has been changed. You can now delete your memorial. Thank you for pointing out this change and helping keep these records as accurate as possible!

Salvator Frangiosa
Hello,

I think there is an error on this family member's Memorial Page. His wife is listed as Mary Iannelli Frangiosa, born 1883, died 1959.

Seems unlikely that if Salvator was born in 1924 that he would marry someone 41 years older...?

Perhaps Salvator's birth year is not listed correctly. Can you please check on this and let me know?

Thank you!
