Genealogy is fun.|
My Public Name comes from the etymology of my full name, Alexis Erin Tierney.
I like cemeteries.
I think it's sad when "inactive" cemeteries are no longer maintained.
I have cemetery maps to Mount Olivet Cemetery, Spring Lake Cemetery, Lincoln Memorial Park, Riverside Cemetery and West Aurora Cemetery, all of which are in Kane County, IL. If you want any copies of the maps, just ask.
If I manage a relative that you'd like to manage, I will transfer as soon as I receive your request.
Peace, Love, and Family. ♥

It would be greatly appreciated if you would include the following information on Mercer Daniel's memorial.
Mercer Daniel was the son of Benjamin and Margaret "Peggy" Brown Daniel. His siblings were William, Osway P., and Mary Daniel Graves.
He was raised in the Benjamin Daniel House, built in 1795, that was designated a protected historic place on Aug 2, 1983 and which is located next to the Canaan Farm Cemetery f/k/a The Daniel Burying Ground.
Miscellaneous Records From Shaker Journals, Compliled by Alma Ray Sanders Ison and James H. Miller for the Harrodsburg Historical Society 1997 states: Aug. 9, 1849 - Wednesday - Mercer Daniel, one of our neighbors three miles north in the Bend, died supposedly of cholera. He went to Harrodsburg on Monday to the election, came home sick and kept to his bed till 1 PM, time of death.

I will gladly transfer this memorial to you. Let me know....thanks for being a Find A Grave contributor.
Thank you for the photo. I take it, that there no headstone. Thanks again for your time and trouble.

Hi there, Can you check and see if a non-family member can visit the (locked) mausoleum to take pictures? My husband and I were successful at gaining access to the mausoleum at Oakland Cemetery in McHenry County, due to the kindness of the cemetery keepers. Some cemeteries in this region are not so receptive. Loretta

I was going through some extra photos and found that i have the following photos but they need memorials:
William Barnd 1928---1931
James Tipton 1939---1941
Mary Barnd Sisson 1875---1931
Louis H. Barnd 1892---1920
Nettie R. Barnd 1884---1888
William and James are on the same headstone so i figure they may be related. Louis and Nettie's headstone are hard to read, next time i am up there i will check their dates closer to be sure they are correct.

Your welcome, glad to do it. I found a Paul J. Tierney 1921-1986 in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, in Key West along with several other Tierney's who already have memorials. I am still trying to find your John Tierney in Mt Calvary Cemetery. Will be going back there soon to look again.

Thank you for the photo of the headstone, it was most gracious of you to take this for us.
Alexis I just want to make sure you received the last couple of emails?
