Forest Hills Cemetery is practically in my backyard, and I love walking there. It is, in my opinion, the most beautiful 275 acres in all of Boston. And since discovering this site while doing some of my own genealogical research, I've also found that I love finding headstones for people, too. If I've found a grave for you, all I ask is that you visit a nearby cemetery and pay it forward.|
Also, if you want to post any photo I've taken to another web site, have at it. Don't even worry about crediting me as the photographer. The way I see it, the photos don't belong to me, they belong to the people researching their family history or remembering loved ones who have passed, and should therefore be as widely available as possible. But please note that not all of the photographers who contribute to this site feel the same way, and be mindful to respect their photos.

You have a photo request for John Evans at the Fry Hill Cemetery in Lucas County, Iowa.
Instead of loading a photo to the site, I decided to let you look at some the photos I took; so you can pick out which one/s you want on the site.
Go to this web page: John Evans to look at the photos.
Let me know if they are satisfactory.

Thank you. After my previous message I discovered how to delete the original request and submitted another one with the grave location so perhaps someone else will pick it up.

The website would not let me submit a new request but if you're still able to get a photo of this grave, he's in Section 31 Lot 5233 off Dielytra Path. If there are other Blewetts nearby I'd appreciate photos of those too. Thank you so much!

How exciting to see my great-grandmother's dedication to her beloved husband on his gravestone!! They had only been married 3 years when he died, and my grandmother was one year old. I don't get up to Boston area much, so it is very appreciated. Thank you so much!!

Thanks for the pictures of her memorial and her families. Now the fun comes in, is she really there? She's also listed on her husbands marker in Oak Hill - time to do obit digging.
