|My interest in my family's genealogy began with my helping my Dad collect information many years ago the best way we could in those days. I was born and raised in southeast Tennessee and thought that was where my family was, little did I know that I had a lot to learn. I listened to stories from various family members and collected information from things written down and passed on through my family. With the maturity of genealogy on the internet, life has become somewhat easier and very fascinating being able to correspond with cousins many times removed. I have found the Find A Grave site one of the most informative means of feeling closer to my ancestors and feel that those individuals that contribute are as trustworthy as can be found. We all make mistakes in collecting and sharing information, but, I have found this site to have a maturity about it that I trust and respect. I thank all for their many hours of hard work and expense. For me, the most important aspect of this site is for all the living to be able to locate their families of the past. I truly enjoy seeing all the children linked back once again with their parents and their parents and their parents and their parents, on up the line. It saddens me that my Dad passed away before he could enjoy all this information collected here. If any information posted by me is in any way incorrect, please inform me and I will make any suitable corrections. Most of the memorials that I attempt to maintain are my family members.|

I just seen your post tonight. I now live pretty close to the Pleasant Hill Community, and I am there quite often. I had dinner at the Church near this Cemetery tonight. Laban White's Great Grand daughter and I ate at the same table tonight. Her name is Julia (named after Labe's wife Julia). My Grandfather would go up and cut Mr.(Labe) White's hair out on the porch when I was a very small child. Labe's children that I knew of were Joseph (Joe), Martha, Eliza and Maude. Maude never married, Eliza married a Gray, and Martha married Velmar French. Several of the "White's" are buried at the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery. Very few people in the area know of this as "The Adam Painter Cemetery" most refer to this Cemetery as the "Lower Pleasant Hill Cemetery." Some graves you might be searching for could be listed at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Cemetery. If anyone needs any pictures in the are I can probably help you.
We placed a gravestone photo on Eva's memorial page.
However there is another memorial set up with the same name, but death date off by 3 years, plus different parents ect. linked to Memorial# 8371187. This might be a duplicate.
We have sent a message to the person who set up the page you left a flower token on, and where we placed what we hope is the correct photo for the proper memorial. Any help would be appreciated.

I wasn't the one who wrote the incorrect year of death on his memorial. I should've compared it to my own records where the George Death Index correctly states his year of death a 1926, but for some reason, I didn't. I have corrected both the year and place of death.

Hi Gary, So sorry it's taken so long to respond...
I'd greatly appreciate the photos you mentioned for the memorials. It's very kind of you.
Would it be possible when you have the time, to forward higher resolution copies to me so I could print them for our family?
Most of Grandma Bessie's pictures and memos were lost when they moved to FL from TN.
Again, sorry for the delay, and thank you!
