Isabelle Weast Hudson
Dianne, you may remember we exchanged Hudson family info a few years ago. We have never found the death date and burial place of Isabelle Hudson. Recently we heard from a distant relative who said her mother stayed with Isabelle some during her last days in El Reno and the time was late 1952 or early 1953. This got our hopes up again and we have pursued this route. Two of Isabelles daughters, Bonnie Pearl and Florence are buried at Calumet, not far from El Reno. From a list of all unmarked at Calumet, she is not there. There is no death certificate for Isabelle that can be found. A very helpful researcher, Jean has all the El Reno papers obits and has them listed, she is not there, either.

Forest Weast, another Weast researcher, thought she was buried at Ramona, Washington County along with Mart Hudson. His daughter, Frances Hudson Swan is also buried there. Have you learned anything new over the past few years. Do you know if there is a list of unmarked graves at Ramona? All the best, D & N Kirk

THOMAS at Tyner Cem.
Thank you for submitting the correction. I deleted that memorial. I do think I figured it out, since at first I couldn't understand how a five year old could have been your g-gf.

This was a memorial that was created based on James Tyner's A.I.I. listings. I have never been to the cemetery.

Looks like they inadvertently created a "hybrid," so to speak, in their listing in Vol. 3, p 101. At plot 87, they picked up on the name at the top of the marker, but then took the dates for "Blue," from the bottom of the marker, which was actually separate data for the son, named W.E. Thomas. The newer marker for the son says he died in 1936, vs. 1935. So at least I understand what happened here. Whew!

RE: Family Connection
Ah, your husband's parent was a first cousin to my father. I have only direct line info, and incomplete dates. My farthest back is Dennis Hampton, b. 1729, my 5th great grandfather. Anything you wish to share is nice. Nellie's youngest child, my Aunt Anita, is living. Anita has three grown children all living, all have grown children. Wendell has two grown children, they are living and have grown living children. Rolland, my dad, had five children, and all are living, all have grown children. I will not share dates, etc. of those living, but there might be other information I have that I can share.

Gladys B Hopewell - Shelburn, IN
I noticed today that her husband, David Riley Hopewell, Jr, whose memorial I updated and linked to her, is maintained by FindAGrave #8. Do you know how we get that transferred to one of us? I'm David's 5th cousin through my mother's family.
