Message from Harmon County, Oklahoma....Over 5 years working on Find-a-Grave have been a BLESSING! Helping to add photos and listing to the 14 Cemeteries of Harmon Co, Oklahoma and many other cemeteries. I started genealogy 1995... before I had a computer, used Family History Center in Bagdad, Arizona where I found friends who loved genealogy as much as I do! Moved back to Delbert's Roots in Oklahoma to retire. Now have over 220,000 entries online. Now walking the cemeteries with my camera...to update ! (On my 4th camera) Over 43,000 marker photos... I have fallen on my face, nursed mosquito bites, spent $$$ on Gasoline, worked with wonderful people of like mind Preserving our HISTORY. At Home, when weather Too Hot, Too Cold, Too Wet, I work to LINK families, posting Plot #'s singing Ray Stevens "I'm my Own Grandpa".(while linking 3 wives...2 sisters...their parents and 13 children) Most gratifying to find one of my photos while linking, or my family members linking into other families.
P S: If you notice a big dark blob on the markers, it may be my DNA...SWEAT....got a few drops on some in Wellington-2012 Quanah 2013-14. Altus 2015.

Thank you for correcting the middle initial on your Memorial for Kenneth R. Stitt. Shortly I will be sending you additional edits for Kenneth's Memorial. I hope you don't mind.
|Sharon Robinson||Great-Great Grandmother|
I found that my great-great grandmother is possibly buried in McKnight Cemetery, in Hollis, OK..
I know she had three married names, Morris - Troxell - and Wilson, but, we absolutely cannot find what her maiden name was, or a picture of her..Is there any chance this information is available from the time of her burial in 1925 ?
Anything I can get is so important as, one of her daughters was my great grandmother, there is no record of her birth, and her death cert has her married name, I do know none of Mary's husbands were my great grandmother's biological father, and in hopes Mary's maiden name may lead us in another direction..
Thank you so much!

Would you be kind enough to transfer management of my Uncle Emmett's memorial to me? He is a brother to my father.
Thank you - Terri Thompson Taylor

Navajo Cemetery. If you will correct the spelling on "Elias/Elisa" Turner's name, I will link the two.

Year of death is 2002 (as per tombstone) not 2007
In stead of creating a new memorial for Martha, why didn't you send me an edit request?

Jeanette thanks for the edits. It gave me the opportunity to touch up the marker photo. Are you related to the family? BJ

I think I found your Martha & E.P. Turner. Martha was already entered. You need to move E.P. Turner to where she's at. Do so, and we can get these folks linked up correctly.
In my last msg to you I mentioned that I feel like Francis M Ford in Jackson Co, Oklahoma, is the brother of Joseph M "Joe" Ford that I have in Garza Co. As it turns out Martha A. Turner is also in Jackson Co, OK in Navajo Cemetery. Her stone reads "Wife of E.P. Turner". Now, when you look up the TXDC for E.P. Turner, it says he was removed for burial to Hedrick, OK. Hedrick is in Jackson Co and is close to the cemetery where Martha is buried. He surely must be there also I think.
Since the other memorial for Martha was crested prior to yours, I'll have to link to it. You however may wish to move E.P. to her cemetery so he'll be visible and no longer listed as a burial unknown, and relink him to prior entry for Martha.

So far, like you, I'm stumped on these names and what Martha's maiden name could have been. However if I'm not mistaken, Memorial #27805383 for Francis M Ford in Jackson Co, Oklahoma, is the brother of Joseph M "Joe" Ford that I have in Garza Co. What do you think?
