I do not mind the use of photos that I have taken. (Credit for photos used on other websites would be greatly appreciated.)|
Also, please contact me reguarding transfers of memorials. I will gladly transfer immediate family members, as long as they are not members of my own family.
I live in Verbena, Alabama. (Chilton County)
I am currently working on recording and taking pictures of all graves in the Chilton Memorial Gardens cemetery in Clanton, AL. If you have a loved one buried there that is not yet on Find A Grave, as long as they have a visible marker, I will get them added shortly.
If you have any information that you would like added to a memorial, or any links that should be made, please send them to me using the Edit link at the top of the memorial. I will get any corrections made as soon as possible (usually within a couple of days at the most).
****If you volunteer on this website and decide you no longer want to maintain the records please transfer your records to someone who has an active account and willing to take over the records. I am one of many willing to take over records. This really will help reduce duplicates. It would also be a good idea to leave someone instructions on how to make these transfers should you go inactive without warning.***** Thank You (Borrowed from another FAG Contributor)

|Erin||Grover Cleveland Harris Jr #97577148|
You have him as the spouse of Susan Estelle Alston Scalco (1910-1981) but I think her husband was his father, Grover Cleveland Harris Sr (1882-1950) #97576975. Susan and Grover's marriage record on 30 Dec 1940 in Autauga, Alabama states he was 58 (b 1882) and the s/o H. A. J. Harris and Elizabeth Kelly. Thanks for all your work!

Teresa, my name is Gary Parker and Solomon W.Parker is my GG Grandfather. I know quite a bit about him but was puzzled about the middle name of Washington that was posted on his memorial page. I have been searching for 35 years to find out what the W. stood for and haven't been successful. Do you know who posted all of this information about him? I am really curious as to where the person who posted this found his middle name. I would also like to have the memorial transferred to me if you aren't related to him. I have had all of the other info on the memorial I'm just really concerned about the middle name. Thanks, Gary Parker

I am looking at Pvt. W. M. Goolsby and he appears to have two Memorials (8617672 and 14099842). Can you confirm for certain that he is in the Confederate Cemetery #1? The other one says he is in Mountain Creek Baptist Church Cemetery and I don't know which one is correct. We need to have the incorrect one deleted. Thank you!

Hey, Teresa! I have a question regarding Minnie's death day. In a 1910 directory Minnie was living in B'ham, Alabama (Augustus A,(Minnie) grocr, 4508 7th av WY-Birmingham, Alabama, USA) & in 1910 ~ 28 May, a Minnie Jackson died in Jefferson County, Alabama. Minnie in buried in Chilton County but I do not believe she died in Chilton County on 6 Jan.

|Michael D. Snell||James Richard Taylor - Memorial 25550548|
Could you take a look at your memorial for James Richard Taylor (23 Feb 1869-1 Jun 1938) (Memorial 25550548).
In your memorial, he is shown as the son of William Barton Taylor and Elizabeth Driver Taylor. William Barton was my great-grandfather. I have no record of a son named James Richard. Additionally, William Barton Taylor and Elizabeth had a son, born on May 6, 1869 named John W. Taylor. He was Hughie Taylor's father. This conflicts with a February birth date given for James Richard.
I believe James Richard Taylor was the first son of John Wesley Taylor (1848-1898) and Mary Frances McKee Taylor (1847-1922). He appears as James R. on all census records for John Wesley Taylor. Additionally, James Richard and Josephine's son, Richard Columbus, was married to my grandmother's (Mary Ann Powell Taylor) sister, Eva Louise Powell. In that way, James Richard was related to me through both my grandfather and by marriage through my grandmother's families. Mary Ann Powell Taylor was married to Walter David Taylor (my grandfather), who you show as James Richard's brother. This would also be incorrect.
Thanks, and if you need more information, just let me know.
